COULD ALSO SUGGEST THE MOHEGAN SUN WOLF DEN, OR MOHEGAN SUN ARENA OR EVEN CLUB BB AT FOXWOODS ............

AS LONG AS TAYLOR IS CLOSE BY, I'LL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO SEE HIM

!!!!!!!!!!!!! OF COURSE, DRAGGING HUBBY TO A CONCERT WILL BE LIKE PULLING TEETH!

I would love to see Taylor at the Mohegan Wolf Den.. saw Michael McDonald there a few years back and it was quite a place to see a show.
Who says you need to drag hubby. We'll be there, you won't be alone.

yay!!! you rock!
That would be soooo awesome!
I would love to be able to go and be myself at a Taylor concert...
hubby said I couldnt go to one unless it was free...
Ive only seen Taylor once, at the Big E and my family still went with attitude because I dragged them to a FREE concert.
Hubby was mad cuz I wanted to give Taylor a rare 2 disk cd of Ray Charles early recordings. I gave it to a nice security guard and I do hope he gave it to Taylor.....
Brootsie -- sounds like a tough situation.
Do you have a "mom's secret cash stash" for when mom needs to treat herself? Even if it's spare change thrown in a jar and kept in your flimsies drawer, it's a start, so when Taylor finally gets himself over to these parts again, you'll have enough saved up for a ticket.
Keep us posted.

most definately!!!!!!
I started my own fund ...i dont buy coffees, breakfast or lunch anymore at work ( it was twice a week) and I buy my clothes off the clearance racks at walmart, just to save up cash for when Taylor comes this way...so far Ive saved $80.00 ( thats whats left after my son needs things for school....)
YAY for me!!
Brootsie,
My husband came to one show with me and that was enough for him. He genuinely likes Taylor and fully acknowledges Taylor's huge talent, he just does not like concerts....never has. I proceeded to go to 6 more shows without him (he was at the Big E but did not stay for Taylor's show). He honestly supports my Taylor "addiction" 98% because he knows the music and everything else that has come along with it makes me very

happy....the 2% I left out is the many many $$$ spent that can occasionally be an issue.
Margaux is correct....go to any New England show
alone and you will find some of us there...ready to stand and dance and scream for the man along with you! We do much of the event planning right here on this board!
SH

thanx SH!!!

I will definately make it to more Taylor concerts-

with or without hubby.
He knows it makes me happy,

but if its not his cup of tea, then he'll "suffer" his way thru the concert, then rush me out of there. But if its something he likes, he will stay till the very very end. Men- go figure!

I hope to meet all of you at a concert!!! soon! I'm ready to put my boogie shoes to work!!

Brootsie, you will never be alone at a show where the NESP is in attendance. Can't wait for you to join us, you will have a blast!!!

awwww shucks! FYI... I am a HUGE dork, and I dont care if I embarrass myself....be warned..I will do anything to make someone laugh!
Might I also add my husband went to ONLY ONE with me too and it was on fathers day week-end right ,isn't he suppose to pick what he wants to do on that day?No sure re we are driving to my sisters in Cohasset and you are going to a Taylor Hicks concert weather you like or not...

( Look at my bunny)and no the kids are not going...but Lisa I want to spend fathers day with my kids, fine then stay home I'm out of here.

He really likes Taylor thinks he puts on one hell of a show he really enjoyed it too,but his problem is he is just not into music like I am and he dosen't like to hang around afterwards and talk, talk, talk and talk about it he's like ok tyhats over lets go.

I'm sure he will go to another one with me if I ask him and please don't get me wrong now I love him more than anything and just could not live without him forever.......but...

I REALLY ENJOY MYSELF BETTER IF I'M WITH YOU GUYS really just jiving, dancing,

ing, disecting every little movement of you know who and I tend to act a tiny bit to crazy for his shy, conservative ways and besides its a girl thing. We are just on the same pages if you understand where I'm comming from.

So in the long/short I do hope I cross paths with more of you this summer/fall although I must admit
it feels like I already know you for some funny reason go figure.
Oh ya Portland would be good again sorry fell off the subject.
amen Lisa!!.....
Hey you cant pick which day Taylor plays, so I guess your hubby was SOL!!!Im sure you made it up to him! Oh, I treasure my hubby immensely, but as I said, if its not what he wants to do, he is just" there" ...oh well...next time, me and you guys!! SOUL PATROL!!!! WHOOO!!!!
