I'm fairly unintelligent when it comes to music so this week might enlighten me. This is not a category I am familiar with at all - and if you asked me 5 minutes ago to name an ALW song, well, I couldn't have. (But I just read a short list somewhere and I did recognize one or two)

Maybe they will prove me wrong and it won't be a snoozefest.
Oh, this should bring out the diva-ness. Grin I wonder who called dibs on "Memory" (from CATS)?

Where's marymagdelene? This is her genre!
This is where the Idols will be next week:

I think David Cook should show us his inner Theater Geek and go Michael Crawford next week. It would be his "You didn't think I could do THIS, did you?" moment, and he'd be famous for life. Though I would also thoroughly enjoy his version of the Jesus Christ Superstar title song.
I would love to see someone tackle " Music of the Night from Phanthom" The lyrics are incredible ! " I Don't Know How To Love Him " Carly would do a fabulous job with that one.ALW,is a brillaiant songwriter, there's lots to choose from,it will be interesting for sure.

I thought of Jesus Christ Superstar for David Cook. Actually, that would have been perfect for Michael Johns.

Our wedding song (first dance) was All I Ask Of You from Phantom.

This should be a cool week for Idol.
I am really looking forward to when they start singing two songs per night and then three when they get a judge's choice, censored Clive's choice, and a song of their own choosing.
Ewwww censored Clive! Haha You might have to get his head out of Daughtrys censored.......
I've never seen Phantom or Jesus Christ Superstar...so this will be a new week for me, I'm sure.

I hope no one does Memory. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Amy: You may want to rent either or both movies in prep for next week... or see if the library has soundtracks you can check out. I know you'll like some of the JC Superstar songs.
Every time I think of Superstar, I think of my high school crush onstage in a diaper, and me realizing, "Jesus has a pot-belly!"

Haha
