By now you know that KOPS works to raise funds for Kid One, but did you know we also work to raise the spirits of the families that Kid One serves? These “fun-raisers” have, during the last several years, included collecting Beanie Babies and stuffed toys for the children at Christmas time and lotions and perfumes for the moms for Mother’s day! We do these projects to fill in the gap between fundraisers hoping the families will know we are thinking about them during these special occasions – and it works!

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we want to once again show the moms we care about their health and well being, too. Because of past support from the Soul Patrol, KOPS will be able to send 800 beautifully designed Mother's Day cards to Kid One for the drivers to share with each of the children and moms that will be riding to and from medical appointments during the month of May. Kid One is thrilled about the project and knows that it is only possible because of your support on past projects.

If you would like to be part of this "FUN-Raiser", please go to http://www.kidone.org and click on the donation button. When making your tax deductible contribution, please write "Mother's Day Card" in the information box on the donation page. For all who send in donations, you will be sent the name of a Kid One mother and child you have helped. No amount is too small, even if it's the cost of a gallon of gas, that will help. With gas prices climing so high, the impact on Kid One could be serious, leaving mothers and children stranded and without the medical care they need.

Thank you again, Soul Patrol! You guys are the best!
Once again, another cool KOPS project! HuggyWill check it out!
It is important to remember the moms who are dealing with so much
stress! Heart
HeartThank you to those who have donated to the Kid One Mother's Day cards, your support is so appreciated.Heart
We've received the names of the mothers and children that each donation is helping. Please keep the family you receive in your thoughts. Your dollars have helped them to get to the medical attention they so desparately need as well as shown them the Soul Patrol cares.

Great job! Highfive
Just the thought of a sick child handing his or her mother a card on their way to an appointment next month that let's her know she is loved and appreciated warms my heart.

Great idea KOPS....Heart
I am very blessed to have three healthy children, I will pray for those who are suffering right now and hope Kid One keeps those vans on the road in these tough financial times!
Just a quick update. Kid One has received a little over $100 for the Mother's Day Card project and it's only the middle of May! They are reporting how touched and appreciative the families are to the Soul Patrol for thinking of them. Thank you SO much for helping Kid One in this time of need! This project will continue the entire month of May so if you want to join in, please feel free!!

Everyone that donates will receive (via email) a card with the name of a mother and her child as well as the child's disorder. Please print off this card and keep it with you or in a place where you'll see it often. Keep this family in your thoughts as they continue to recover with the help of Kid One. Remember the great service Kid One is providing to so many people. Without that service, many young children, including unborn babies, would suffer and possibly die! Your help is saving lives!

If you would like to contribute to the project, go to http://www.kidone.org and click the donation button. Write "Mother's Day Card" in the information area of the payment page. Kid One will know you are part of the Soul Patrol and are sharing your kindness again!

The Soul Patrol is filled with so many thoughtful and caring people and we're so happy to be part of the club. Thanks go to Taylor for helping us to find each other!

Thank you!
