YES! Good job!! Love me some Bad Co. Heart
THawks -- is that "Forever Young" originally Bob Dylan, redone by Rod Stewart?
(not positive on this one... can't post my lyrics till I know I'm right... )

I fell in love with you before the second show.
Your guitar..it sounds so sweet and clear
But you're not really here
It's just the radio.

Long ago and oh so far away

Superstar - - Carpenters

Don't know the first one - -
And don't have time to post new lyrics right now Sad

Catching up now that have time

Headin' up to San Francisco
for the Labor Day weekend show,
I've got my hush-puppies on,
I guess I never was meant for
glitter rock and roll.

And AH's song is "Come Monday" by Jimmy Buffett.

There'll be trains of blossoms
There'll be trains of music
There'll be trains of trust, trains of golden dust
Come along and surry on sweet trains of thought

Come Monday - Jimmy Buffet!

Well, I play an old guitar from a nine till a half past one
I'm just tryin' to make a livin' watchin' everybody else havin' fun
Well, I don't miss much if it happens on a dance hall floor
Mercy, look what just walked through that door

surry = dead giveaway ! Grin

Can you surry, can you surry
Surry down to a stoned soul picnic
Surry down to a stoned soul picnic
There'll be lots of time and wine
Red yellow honey, sassafras and moonshine

Stoned Soul Picnic - - Fifth Dimension

Um, yeah - dead giveaway. Haha

Hey when was the last time you saw "surry" used - don't even think it's a real word Grin

Some songs just for you

The girls need a break--tonight we're gonna take
The chance to get out on the town
We don't need romance--we only wanna dance
We're gonna let our hair hang down

Or this one - didn't know the song but the name seemed somehow familiar Tongue

Life's too short, let's get to livin' it
Let's give it all we can give it
Let your hair down, turn the music up
We gonna paint the town flat, tear it up
The party starts here get in line, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Surry's a real name - and the name of a town close-by Smile
"Surry with the fringe on top"
But I've never heard of that song or the group.

Thanks for the Shania Twain - and I'm not sure what the second one is...but the lyrics seem familiar.

The lyrics I posted earlier were T.R.O.U.B.L.E. by Travis Tritt. Smile
