Hi all.
I've been exhausted since the weekend. REALLY! Staying up til 2 am was really a burden for me and I haven't bounced back yet.
We enjoyed our Dinner with Taylor to celebrate the BEacon one year anniversary. We met in Edison, NJ at the Macaroni Grill. It was a great place to meet. Marcy made the arrangements and our group met around 4:30 and left at 9:30. Jamal, our waiter, was a doll. He took a lot of our group shots.
Photobucket is acting up for me so I only have a few right now.
I made a little tribute DVD of my sister's videos and greeting cards with one of my Beacon pics. We passed around albums again. Diane has an album that puts anything I've seen to shame. Wow. Are these people organized or what?
I had a special picture I took at Millersville that I framed and put on the table so we had Taylor with us. I am looking for a photo contest to enter the picture in so it's not on the internet in any posts because it's special! Listen to me. Like I know what I'm talking about.
We then adjourned the meeting to the hotel where I set up a projector and laptop and we watched DVD's of Taylor projected onto the wall in the hotel room. Some of the DVD's were so hilarious I couldn't catch my breath.
We're planning a day in NYC later in the Spring. Hopefully we'll be able to put those stalker skills to work for us and we'll 'bump' into Taylor in Manhattan.
This is the group shot sent to me by PattyP. My group shot is not as good.

L to R: Sarah, Patty, Dee ( holding Taylor), Diane, Karen
Back: Marcy, Candy, Louise, Cathy.
Despite having only read HFOS once, I won the answer Taylor questions contest and won a plaque with 'Dance, Love, Sing' inscribed on the front. The CD's are of the Beacon with a picture I took at that show.

Dinner card I made. The other card has the Stax picture from Glen Allen on it.

Hellooooooooooooooooo. Remember kissmybear? Here it is!

Diane just won't let go of Taylor!

Ladies with smiles on their faces and Taylor buttons on their shirts.

Restaurant marquee. I'm practicing for the next tour.

More later as I upload to pb. I have 1000 pics in the file and they want me to create a subfolder. Right.

:Thud:
I think the next show I went to wasn't until the House Of Blues in June. I went to another in PA somewhere, but my memory is not too good on that one. That usually happens when I don't have my camera...lol. If we do one for Millersville in October I know allot of people who would love to come to that one, but thats months away and "hopefully" Taylor will be touring by then and we will be "on the road again"!
