Hi Liz,
My husband and I are the promoters bringing Taylor Hicks to Concord, NH and Portland, ME. We would like to reach out the New England Soul Patrol. Is there anything we can do to get you involved in the shows? We would like to sell them out. We need help postering and getting the word out there. I hope we can work together to make these great shows!

I'm going to Portland but I'm going up from Connecticut..Could help with the Connecticut show...

Keep us posted! I am in Salem, NH and can help promote the Concord show if needed. There is a large bulletin board for personal postings at the Post Office...maybe I can put a poster there?!?!?

here's an idea you can give them - - details are being worked out for a fundraiser for the homeless shelter in our area - it will involve radio promotion and the "carrot" is this package - signed set of Taylor's 3 CDs [ IYT, UTR, & TH ] plus 2 tickets to the Portland show -
this has several pluses - 1st - desperately needed funds for the shelter,- - 2nd - Taylor is getting good airplay across all the dayparts from this station already but it will call more attention to him and maybe leverge some other plays from the album,- - 3rd - exposure for the concert . . .
Another station that covers an area a bit further south is being approached also to do a similar charity tie in

Another plus both of these stations have a good reach into the New Brunswick, Canada areas whose population shop / work / play on this side of the border.

Why couldn't the promoters work with Taylor's people to do some more things like this ? ?   Stations are likely to offer good air time deals or even run PSAs when the goal is to help a local charity.

So are you working with Chakra? I thought they were the promoters for the Concord and Portland shows.
