I finally completed my first montage. It was a challenge because I am crafty and creative but very low tech with things like this. There are three audio clips included in the vid, just over 4 minutes long.
I hope you enjoy it!!

Great job SH. Loved to hear Taylor talking as the video opened. The picture with the brown guitar and the steamy background is new to me. It's awesome.
Great work. Thanks for sharing.

Love that you used Son of a Carpenter - it is a favorite of mine and kind of neglected.
Good job !
That was great and I love that song too AH. I wish he would have sang that on tour. He should redo it like he did with Soul Thing.
Thanks!!
I posted an SOS on Boogie for tech advice because as I was making my first vid on Windows Movie Maker I could not get the music to play. It was the "wrong format" dagonit and I paid for the dang downloads on iTunes and tried to make it work for almost 2 hours.

I really
really wanted to make a montage using a Marc B. tune but couldn't get it to work so I went with the only mp3 files I own which are from One Night In Nashville.

From your keyboard to Taylor eyes ! ! Am really hoping he saved it for a reason.

Just a personal thing but I'm glad it didn't work - - have seen very few montages using other people's music that I actually liked
That said - it's easy to change ripped files from wma to mp3 but don't use iTunes so not sure if can do it with those - did you ask the tech-types ?
AH - Katja and a few others gave me some tips but the computer "help" window suggested I needed to download a "codec" to change the files and online they are available for purchase ($20 and up) but there are several different codecs and I had no idea which one I needed and since it now costs me $54.00 to fill my gas tank, I don't want to throw $20 away on something like that. Will be parting with my 10 year old minivan soon and buying a new SUV which will consume more gas but at least it will run on regular unleaded! I wish it ran on corn based fuel!! I digress....
I can download mp3s from Amazon...that's the format sold there....right? Can I then store them in my iTunes library along with all the other music I purchased from iTunes and imported from my CDs?
Seger: Yes you can store the Amazon MP3s in ITunes. Make sure to use the NESP Amazon link.
Good luck and have fun!
