The other thing that struck me is that none of the finalists are any good at being interviewed. Before they're released on the media in a few weeks, it'd be nice if someone gave them some PR training!
I caught David Cook's hometown interviews on Friday. He was quite personable and well-spoken. It could be like Taylor, he relaxes with the folks at home, the local disk jockey was teasing him about the events they used to do when none of the girls would look at either of them twice.
I echo Margaux and Mari's sentiments. Bad song choices pretty much all around.
While I absolutely love "Or So it Goes", it was the completely wrong song for Archie. You criticize the kid all season for choosing depressing, too mature songs and you hand him that.

Cas and I were saying yesterday morning that they have not used any current songs this year (except the group performance of "Don't Stop the Music"), "With You" was not that time to start!
David C's performances were good, but not moving. I was talking to Mari on AIM while watching the show, and I will not type here what I typed to her when he started singing that damn Diane Warren song.

I would have to delete my own post.

Though you know Margaux, "Places I've Been" might just work for David C.
No real comment on Syesha. She has a very nice voice and is very beautiful. She will do very well on Broadway!
And yes, at this point, isn't the show usually longer, or is that just my failing memory?
It will be a David/David final for sure.
Last night was one big bore for me. Guess it's the Jason withdrawals

I'm pretty sure David Cook has won it (I actually
think he's been the winner for weeks). Weird to think it's almost
over already! Better than last year, but still not even close to Season
5

AH said Hadn't really watched the other David before - prefer to just listen after get an initial visual.
Found him even less appealing when was watching him sing - - there's something oddly uncomfortable about him that I can't quite put my finger on
I feel that too and it's not a good feeling I feel sorry for him in a way that he may and I repeat may have been and still is being abused.Has that sheepish scared look in his whole face expressions..Got that feeling about second time I watched him perform.

I really hope David Cook wins.
