Sounds like the perfect opportunity for NESP to get together. My
brother lives in Danbury CT-the train there goes directly in to NYC
and it's only 45 minutes. There would be inexpensive hotels there too. I'm in for the group sales if we can-Kim, are they good seats???
Thanks for already researching. LOL minute I turned off the TV I headed here and it's already in the works
Grease is probably the one show I'd be excited about. Taylor in wings will be interesting

Amazing where this takes us! Love
how he threw in the Soul Patrol shout outs-he just gets cuter by the
minute
Diane-any tips on all of this?
Barbie, great thinking about the after the show parties!!

Don't forget that there are those of us toooooooooo far away to drive. I'm thinking of actually flying in at this point. With gas hovering at $4 a gallon, I can fly for about $200 roundtrip.
I guess we need to pick a date, right?

I might have a little more insight into this later today...
Once we pick a date, we have to let Taylor know that he is not allowed to get sick and have his understudy perform that day!

Thought I'd toss in an old GC tradition for moments like this
Seems I forgot the reason for the post in the first attempt - third paragraph - imagine my joy
See Amy has already seen it - - so how come no celebrating ? ? ?

The country influenced album reference? I thought I'd celebrate quietly.
I just wonder HOW country it will truly be.
I just took the time to watch the clip on nbc.com. Did Kathie Lee call him "honey"? Twice??
He looks really good, though. I'm hoping that being on stage every day will result in a consistently good haircut.

He wouldn't have pursued this part if he didn't think it was the best thing for him right now, and really, Bway is only second to soaps as the most convenient thing a person can do for work if they want time to work on other projects. I am glad he'll be able to take the time to work on the new album, probably play out in local bars (praying for a trip to New Haven!) and really hone the songs before putting them down on tape (err, hard drive), and this will open him up to an entirely new audience. Judging by the bad reactions I've seen all over the boards today, with few exceptions, the SP is not really into Bway shows, even Grease. And, c'mon guys, it's not like it's Miss Saigon. It's Grease. And he's not playing Danny so he gets to keep his gorgeous grey hair.

I did a lot of Bway stuff in high school and Grease really is the only show I think would be remotely appropriate for him, although seeing him as Phantom could probably kill me (not good for his voice though). Oh, and this theatre... it is smaller than my high school auditorium. It'll be like sitting ON him. Holy cow.

There can't be a bad seat in a 1000 seat theatre. This could be better than some of the venues we saw him in last summer.

Why do I feel like I got scolded for expressing my feelings?
AH....thanks for the People link.....this quote makes me very happy:
"While in New York City, the Alabama native will also record his country-influenced second album. "
Just read the People article... Mets, dammit. METS!
I'm really interested in this part:
He also plans to tackle some serious issues. "It's an election year so there will be some political undertones. I've become a sponge while creating each song, soaking up what's going on whether it's political or about love."
HOLY FRIGGIN CRAP..................TWO WAMMIES COUNTRY AND BROADWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!in one day!

WHAT IN HELL WILL TOMORROW BRING????????????????????????
TAYLOR HICKS MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!
METS OR YANKEES..............THAT RIGHT THERE HAS PUSHED ME OVER THE

TOP.

Now we have to buy him a hat,ball,shirt,etc.. with that shit on it.
