I don't really see what the big deal is. He must have thought "this would be kinda cool to do broadway". Who cares if he tours later or the CD is a bit later than we all expected, we know it's coming. Besides we're still waiting for the DVD from last October and we're all surviving! Haha Besides it gives us more time to save more money to see more shows! w00tbounce

Count me in, train is 5 min from my house and an hour to NYC! My neice Lacy lives in NY so maybe she'll go too! Should be fun!

Emma might come too! Maybe being the NESP we can get a future show and take up the front rows! LOL

The first wk of June is Grace Potter concert for Linda and I. Also going to John Butler Trio in August and would love to go to Widespread Panic in July but don't want to go to another concert by myself. .

Where and when is WSP playing ? ?

Govt Mule
is in Cohasset, MA Thursday July 17th
and Hampton Beach Saturday July 19th

but GPN isn't opening for them - really want to see her and Warren together for myself instead of videos

The Black Crowes are in Hampton Beach - June 28th and 29th (Sat & Sun)
with an unannounced opener - - but Roll Eyes

Geeze - - since we know we have the summer free - - maybe we should start a New England concert thread - - can stickey it - - and as people add things they like the mods can edit the top post to include them ? ? ?

There are some festivals that have been mentioned scattered around too

ETA: going off to Other Artists to do that - - -

Says Hicks: "I'll have to figure out what fan I should be, Yankees or Mets!"

Gina--time to convince him to be a Yankees fan!!! Gotta get him that jersey we were talking about! Woohoo!! w00tbounce

Check out the Events calendar on OFTV for concert dates (WSP was on there).

Let's try to coordinate with the NY/PA/NJ group too. Marcy,Louise,
Diane,Denise,Kathy,Candy? You in? Huggy

I would like to try and go with you guys depending on what date you pick. I know of one other person from TMS who is actually from New England that expressed an interest too. I'm not sure how many people you already have either. Details! Details! I love that we have something to figure out! Smile

Liz, I was going to pull out that marthon quote as well. It truly think that his last CD production experience was not a positive one, in part, because it was so rushed. I think this time will be the antithesis of that. And remember, he's a bit of a perfectionist. And I think positive exposure for something he is doing is important. Heck, I've seen an improvement already. At least the photo on the People piece is very recent and shows him looking great!

One thought I did have though - I can't imagine Taylor doing the same thing for three months straight. I guess that he only does it 10 minutes at a time might help! Wink

This was very well said and I agree completely. I also can't picture him doing the EXACT same thing over and over but yes I guess ten minutes isn't so bad, huh? Here's also hoping he can't live without finding a local club to jam in and that we find out about it in time!!

This could launch the biggest "Where would Taylor go" wild goose
chase of all time-a summer long extravaganza of confusion Haha. We're going to have to rely on the people in NYC to find out the scoop so we can live vicariously through them Huggy

I'm going to start a thread in Gifts and Planning to see if we can
narrow down when people can attend and who wants in Highfive

The poll is up in Gifts and Planning section (you need to have made
20 posts to get there, so get posting if you're not there yet Haha)
Angela may have some cool connections re tix too Huggy

Boy, for someone that has always avoided NYC I seem to be rather
motivated now Haha (I do love it at holiday times, tree lighting was
severely tempting). We also met someone really nice from NY at
the convention who can play tour guide too Huggy
Geez, the tix are kind of expensive. I guess I haven't been to a Broadway show in a while. Shyblushing
