Let's try to get a list of who's in for a group trip to see Taylor in
Grease...and try to narrow down a date that works. If you want to
be included, please post here and list dates that will NOT work for
you. I'll add a poll as well. Kim, thanks for getting the info on group
sales and getting the ball rolling! Huggy

Here's a restaurant/bar that can handle a group-very close by and
decent prices Grin

The only time I can't go that is coming to my head is the week of 7/9 to 7/12...I"m in Chicago for Pampered Chef conference.

Please let me know what is decided as I'm not on as often as I like to be these days.

Oh....who's in for cancelling the 80's night for this? LOL Haha
Weekend of 6/9 - wedding shower
6/13 - Brian Wilson show
4th of July - but he'll be in DC anyway
Weekend of 8/9 - wedding

ETA: maybe I'll just use this post to keep track of ALL my summer obligations! Who needs a calendar? Not I! Haha

8/12 - Jeff Dunham show
End of August - moving
How does Saturday July 26th sound to people? Mari, you are going
to have a fun summer!! w00tbounce
No, I am going to have a weddingy summer Roll Eyes and it ain't my wedding! Ugh. I am going to all these shows to break it up so I don't lose my damn mind!

July 26 sounds good to me at the moment. I need to block it out now, though, so people don't go scheduling anything.
Liz,

See Mari's schedule. Haha July 26th sounds good.

It would be Mari, Cas and me.

I'll check on this date. Right now it seems pretty doable for me. I'll be back, as Arnold would say!

We prefer the weekends of July 12th and 19th. The weekend of the 26th doesn't really work...but it could if that's what everyone else wants to go with.
July is pretty open for me as far as I know.
Between the girls in summer camp, I think July 26th will work for us--thats four of us, Emily, Isabel, David and I. My girls are way excited about going to see a "grown up" show on Broadway (not Blues Clues at Radio City!). We wont need to stay overnight, but we will hang out!

Thx for the poll, Liz...we can get this ball rolling now!! The sooner we get the date down, the sooner I can email the theater and get info on tix (cost, avaliability, etc). When we do have the date, I will email them and give them the dates and show times we were interested.

FYI--there are some perks that come with group sales that can be included in the pkg, such as a Q&A session with the cast (YEA!!!!!!), dinner, etc.

BE PREPARED--the cost for the best avail seat in the house (orch) is $121...now there is a discount for groups, but I believe the percentage varies by the amount of ppl in our group. I think it may be between 10 and 30 percent. I wanted to get an idea of how much seats cost.

On Today, Taylor said this is a 1000 seat venue. A nice size theater. I would think that any seat would be a good one, so we dont need to have the most expensive seats.

Take a look at the links that Liz posted of the theater website so that you can get an idea of the seating. I think it would be kinda cool if NESP had their own "box" so we can WOOT all we want without disturbing the others around us!w00tWoohoo

Once the date is set, and we have at least 20 ppl who we know are coming, we will need to decide if we want a matinee or evening, and which day--Friday, Sat or Sunday.
