Now that is just odd ! Know all players have their quirks though.
Probably isn't the mp3 vs wma format if it plays okay in her vehicle so not sure what's going on.
Added thought - - What are you using for blank CDs ?
There was one brand I had some trouble with a while back - unfortunately don't remember what it was - pretty much stick to Memorex now.
Can always try burning a new one and see if it works - stranger things have happened - lol
