Hello, all!

If any of you want to come down to this part of New England, the Fairfield Theatre Company http://www.fairfieldtheatre.org/ has a WHOLE BUNCH of CONCERTS in the next few months that are QUITE AMAZING!!!

They have managed to get such people as:

I think I am going to get tickets to see Marcia Ball, Tab Benoit and Boz Scaggs for both my Dad and myself...

If anyone is interested, I happen to be VERY familiar with this area, as I am only 1 mile away from the place...

Also, Fairfield has a BRAND NEW Best Western hotel that is not even 1 year old which is no more than 2 miles away, and there is also the Fairfield Motor Inn, which is maybe 1 mile away...

I can also tell you about some really cool restaurants that I/we have gone to...

Hmm, Pat Benatar sounds interesting!

Let's see - lived in Brookfield Center once upon a time and think it was about an hour to Fairfield - there was some restaurant a neighbor/friend liked to go.
So from where I am now - that would be the ends of the earth - would guess it to be about a 9 hour drive. No one on that list is that interesting by themselves and no overlapping dates.

Those of you close enough - do try to see this next fall. Improv at it's most brilliant.
FRI Oct 24 Capitol Steps

I have watched segments of "Capitol Steps" when they have had bits on TV, and they are HYSTERICAL!!!

I doubt that I will attend this particular item, as I truly can live without politics, but I particularly DESPISE politics once it gets closer and closer to Election Day...

Do not get me wrong (shades of The Pretenders), please, as I find politics FASCINATING, but at that time of year, my tolerance level for the ads is near ZERO, and especially THIS year, as it is a Presidential election...
