I didn't know "Tessie" had replaced "Dirty Water" after a win. I thought it was just an addition. I haven't been to Fenway in way too long. That's cool about the souvenir single, amy. GMTA UHadMe!

UHMAWH - - hope you succeed in getting the thought planted because this is a perfect song for the Cohasset/Hyannis weekend
fits the venue - - fits Taylor's style - - even has harp !
from wiki :
"
Dirty Water" is a 12-bar blues song composed by Ed Cobb and first recorded by the California rock and roll band The Standells in 1966. It is considered a classic of garage rock. "
And am remembering why this was almost an anthem in my college dorm - -
Frustrated women (I mean they're frustrated)
Have to be in by twelve o'clock (oh, that's a shame)
But I'm wishin' and a hopin', oh
That just once those doors weren't locked
hmmm, , , should I mention that some of us would sign in then sneak down to a room on the first floor that had a window that the ground sloped up really close to . . . . . . . . . nah, probably not . . .
Aging Hippie...looks like you did your research as instructed. :-)
My number one pick would have to be Aint No Sunshine.Taylor,a guitar his incredible voice and the weeping harp. His rendition is to date the most hauntingly beautiful one I have ever heard ! I would also love him to do an intense foot stomping version of Hollywood Nights. He blows that song out of the water ! Of course I could go on and on and on !! Have a great holiday everyone !
"....an intense foot stomping version of Hollywood Nights."
JAG.....YES,INDEED!!!!

I heard the Seger version last night and all I could picture was him doing it in Worcester...
Yes, add me to the list of those who would love to revisit Taylor's Hollywood Nights Live and in person.
I'm still pushing for him to do Fire Down Below.

Here's a really sentimental one I'd like to hear him do...The Dance,
by Garth Brooks

Acoustic

Oh YES! The Dance! Love that song!
This morning on the radio I heard that song "Black Betty". They play this song at the Red Sox games alot. It isn't that much for vocals, but would be great for the band to jam on. And with a harp solo from Taylor, well it could be alot of fun.
