Have seen the first one and next to last one before - - as a matter of fact there is a video that the first one could be a screen cap from - - now if I could only remember where - - that was when I was still in download mode so I might even have it if had a clue what I am looking for in that hard drive hell
" I thoroughly enjoy pre-Idol ("organic") Taylor "
Me too Amy - - on a music and appearance level - - have always thought the longer hair makes him look like his age - - and the short, short cuts age him.
Great photos. I do remember seeing at least one before.

In total agreement with this as well! Gotta love the shirts!

Yes, he does look older with the shaggy hair...and whats w/that shirt? Is that the "fugly" shirts you guys refer to?
I appreciate pre-idol Taylor, but he does look good with some polish!

Umm - not challenging your opinion here at all but it sounds like you think you are agreeing with me ? ?
But actually I said just the opposite - no big deal just wanted to clarify.

These are cool. I like seeing Taylor "back in the day".
I do not care for the shirts and the longer hair.
IMO the short hair is
much sexier.
Not trying to change the subject but something struck me as I looked at these older pics. I spent the majority of my thirties either pregnant or nursing a baby and as a result,
overweight. (I still have 10 pounds of "baby" fat to lose!

) I wore very conservative clothes...think Lands End and LLBean...that were typically too baggy on me. It made me look older and fatter than I was!
Once I decided to go gray, I knew I needed to make other changes so I did not look old, hence I lost a little weight and started dressing better.
With these loose/baggy fugly shirts, Taylor looked older and bigger than he was too! He is wearing better clothes, hotter jeans and shorter hair now and looks amazing IMO. I don't care what he weighs....I
never post comments like "he's gained a few" or "he looks so thin"....most of us have our ups and downs with weight and I, for one love food and believe life is too short to eat celery every day!

Daughter of a beautician here so trust me, I know hair is all a matter of taste
Just think he looks younger like this

than with the "banker" haircuts.
As to the rest of the look - I can do w/out the "fugglies" too - but don't think he looks heavy in those pictures - - I know some thin people who simply prefer loose clothing to body fitted styles so again whatever trips your trigger

I'll take him either way.
But, I think there is much more that is different about him than the hair. That picture you posted AH was nearly three years ago. And, okay don't hurt me, but I think he has aged quite a bit in the three years - the lines are deeper, the hair grayer. That said, he still looks great to me because it's all about the complete package for me, not just what's on the outside.
My favorite is the in-between Taylor. Shaggy hair but not as long as
in early pics, but not completely polished. Taylor at Ona's just
being himself with a baseball hat on

I imagine just the stress of being on Idol and the Idol tour
would age someone
Cool to see some new old pics though, and would love to see the
video if you find it
