I just had WZID on (97.5), thinking of taking a brief nap. There was a promo for the weekday morning guy, saying that they would have several celebrities on during the week. I was expecting that maybe they snagged another AI 7 finalist, as they have already chatted with Jason Castro and Syesha.

The first name mentioned was TAYLOR HICKS.
No sh*t. Have we even heard he's doing radio promos?

I assume he's talking about his 4th of July appearance? Grease?
Coincidentally (or not) the song immediately after the promo was "You're the One That I Want" with Olivia and Travolta.

I'll send the morning guy an email to see when they'll be talking to Taylor.

The other name was Brian Wilson -- who does have a NH appearance in July.

I have to make a correction, I heard the promo again, while not napping.
He didn't say he was talking to Brian, but they will be giving away tickets to the Hampton Beach show on 7/13.

My email did suggest he ask Taylor when he would be performing in NH again.
I didn't want to overwhelm the poor guy, or sound like a rabid Soul Patroller

Oooooo -My family is on vacation the week of 7/13 and that's when we take our yearly overnight stay in Hampton. I think we're going on 7/16 tho, but something to consider.

Bev, Mari and I are going to the Brian Wilson show on 7/13. I actually have one extra ticket since Cassie can't go.
