Have added some updates to the line up as iClips posts them.

Note if anyone tried around 9 PM they were having some video stream problems for about 15 - 20 minutes .
Hey it's live - - but what amazing technology that you can go to a concert in West Virginia without leaving home - - love it !
For any fans of Gov't Mule - - they now have two sets today ( Saturday )
4:00 PM EST

10:00 PM EST Changed Again ! ! ! !

Had an unintentional nap and then watched their set %&# Early this AM.
Mule took the stage at around 2:20 AM and played until about 4:40 AM - - good set as always with Warren's usual superb guitar work but the treat that made me glad the laptop and I were still snuggled in the recliner came almost at the end when Warren did a great cover of Radiohead's Creep ! ! ! !
I've had a love/hate thing with that song - now have nothing but love for Warren's take on it.
Am hoping he does it again in one of today's sets.
Yet another change in th line up - - this is a rather loose schedule to say the very least

NEW LINE UP HAS WIDESPREAD PANIC AT 10:00 PM

Addition to Sunday's line up
12:00pm - Bonerama
If any audio or video of Warren H's "Creep" surfaces, I'd like to hear it.

Meanwhile, I didn't know the song until this version surfaced a few months ago:

Hey thanks for that - - Very nice ! ! One could say f'ing special even . . . . .
He's no Warren Haynes - but then damn few are and he's got time.
( I have to ask - is his fan base having a melt down over the *gasp* f-bomb ? am betting no ! )

Warren's guitar skills alone put him in a whole other realm and on this song his vocal phrasings and tenor part in the 4 AM performance were spot on.
In the 4 PM show they were having sound board issues during the song and the squeals messed with the delivery - Mr. H did not look happy !!
Will most definitely be on the prowl for an mp3 of Warren's version. Mule's live stuff is harder to find than most of the festival bands though because they offer so much of their concert recordings for sale and discourage tapers. They don't exactly need the promotional value anymore I suppose.

Here's a partial from another show - - a tease since full song probably ran over 4 min . . . . .

Gov't Mule - Barrymore Theater 10/30/06

Am a little surprised at that since you have such a vast catalog in your head - - apparently Radiohead was not on your radar in the early to mid 90's ?
I'm not a fan of their stuff in general but Creep was big enough it caught my attention and had enough of a hook that it stuck in my mind.

Decided to go for a more recent performance and this had the best audio of the ones I sampled.

Radiohead - Creep (Live at V Festival 2006)

Thanks for the videos.. Warren does a fine job on the song.

Before broadband, I didn't have much access to "new music" that wasn't on mainstream radio.
Most of my friends have been "crunchy granola" aging boomers, and not listening to much new except the folkie singer-songwriters (think Shawn Colvin, Indigo Girls, John Hiatt) since the early 1980s. I've gotten much more current in my musical tastes the past five years than I've been in my whole life -- thanks to the internet. Now there's a topic for discussion!

So no, I knew about Radiohead, but don't know their music.
You've done a much better job of catching up than I have - but then I had to reach back to the late 60's and 70's for my baseline - and didn't pay much attention beyond radio for a lot of very busy years.
Except for the music that blared through the thinly insulated walls of an old farm house from Dson's room. Fortunately he had discovered our vinyl collection as a kid and had developed a taste for that music so it tempered his teen year choices. Reminds me - -I need to dig up a photo of the door to his room he turned into a take on Pink Floyd's The Wall Wink
According to Dson and friend conversation Radiohead peaked and doesn't seem to know it - he's not impressed with their more recent efforts.

Creep has been covered by a lot of people and was used on both season's of the sadly departed show RockStar.

Lukas Rossi - - Creep (Rockstar Supernova)
Love or hate the guy - this is a good performance.

Magni - - Creep (Rockstar Supernova) - his choice to do for an elimination round

Marty Casey - - Creep ( Rockstar INXS )
his version stuck pretty close to the original Radiohead
