Im sorry I wasnt able to go, but I entertained myself with "Whomp at the Warfield"--I DVRed it when it was on last.
Cant wait to hear about everything and if Taylor showed up at the talkback! I called Liz's cell phone this afternoon and left a msg. I felt like a "mom" checking in!
I just heard from Liz! She said that everyone had a great time...and TAYLOR DID THE TALKBACK!! I am so happy for them! She will give all the details when she gets back! Cool pics too!
He knew NESP was IN THE HOUSE!!! Yeah!!! And he delivered!! Woo-hoo!!!!
The play was wonderful - the seats were fantastic! The stage door was unbelievably crowded. the talkback was beyond our wildest dreams, and THEN....this:

I am soooooo happy for everyone! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! When I set out to organize this adventure for NESP, THIS is what I wanted to happen--fantastic seats and Taylor at the Talkback!
Even tho I wasnt able to attend, seeing this picture of how happy everyone is makes me SMILE!!
Just got back from NYC. The trip was wonderful and Taylor was magnificent! His performance was amaxzing, he really hammed it up. And he does most of his song on the left side of the stage, which is where we were seated. I was in the fourth row, and he was so close, towering over us. He was hot Hot HOT! And his voice sounded amazing on stage. He hit and held a high note at the end,and he got thunderous applause. During curtain calls, everyone got a lot of applause and cheering, but when Taylor came out the place nearly erupted!
The talkback was fun. Taylor talked about rehearsing in a studio not with the cast of the show, and about his input into the character and his costume. There's so much more...but I'll leave some for the rest to tell.
The stage door was fun. I got some pictures, but it was hard with the crowd. He signed and posed for the cameras. And you can see by the picture above what happened. Us SPers were just standing around figuring out what was next when he came out and said to us "OK...group photo". The he said "Maybe I should get in the back" and we all were saying "no,no Taylor, you stay in front." He was in a great mood and loving it all.
FINALLY! I'm so glad you all had blast. Ilove the picture of Nesp with Taylor. How awesome. I wish I could have been there with. Now lets hear some more stories. What are you guys tired or something...still on cloud 9 I bet. Hope everyone had a safe trip home. MB
