Wow, I'm going to be busy jumping back and forth today if the weather doesn't hurt iClips too much Grin

12:28 PM
Just got set up to listen to Jakob Dylan but they aren't streaming - - maybe same problem as Gathering of the Vibes - temporarily down waiting for some weather to pass through. ? ?

12:41 PM
They're back and Dylan just took the stage - - good quality sound.
This is just an audio stream - no video like iClips - thought I'd watched full webcasts from them before though ? ?
Change of schedule apparently - - just tuned in again and am definitely hearing Margo Timmins' distinctive voice so Cowboy Junkies must be doing another set ? or they are rebroadcasting their earlier set to compensate for weather delaying the live feed ?

Don't actually care why I guess - just enjoying it Smile

The NPR "talking heads" just confirmed it pre-recorded and they are back to the live schedule. approx - 3:10 PM
Sunday's schedule has been slightly revised. Several of today's acts, including Jakob Dylan and Steve Earle are now available for listening. I think I shall do just that for the rest of the evening.

Now if I was home, I could post some pics of Newport on a lovely sunny day so you could have a simulated webcast.

Awww - that's a nice thought.

Listened to Dylan and Earle live - - both sets were good.
Be sure to check for the Cowboy Junkies too - - the recorded songs the NPR "color folks" played were very good.

Looks like they added Trey to the Sunday lineup - - wonder if his set was rained out today ?

Will have trouble deciding who to tune into tomorrow - - nice problem to have Cool
I'm enjoying Steve's set now, and Jakob's last night. Listen to "Shy of the Moon" in the middle of Jakob's set and experience the inescapable bloodlines coursing through his music.

A review of yesterday's music (and rain) from the Providence Journal:

Caught part of Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings - - was switching back and forth with Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi on iClips !

The NPR website has changed the lineup - -

4:10 p.m.: Levon Helm
5:20 p.m.: Trey Anastasio
Not everything is up just yet but NPR will have all their recorded sets from the weekend available for listening - - thanks to hwc for posting the link on BB
