Back in the good old days I had never seen these before...

Thanks Liz for bring them to light.........The second one is really neat to me.I really try to put myself at that bar and I try to put myself in a place where in my earlier years I was really digging music and the bar scene and I ask myself would he have got my attention back then?H e is SO unique in SO many ways,this has been said many a times I know but I am 100% sure that he would have been on my favorite list and I would have been there every nite he played, with my buddies. The sound quaility really isn't good in the video and you know chances are it wasen't that great live either but it just screams pure raw talent in my book.The guy just loves what he's doing he is connected with himself and that is a very,very good thing and hard to fine.

Wow Liz - can't believe the second one - Gonna Move - slipped by you.
It was taken by a fan when Taylor was in Birmingham on the Idol Tour but not sure it surfaced until a bit later.

The tour stopped for 3 days ( 2? ) in B'ham and the LiMBO shadow tour that time was an announced party at Workplay the night before the Idol concert.
If I remember correctly this was filmed much later that same night when a few people went on to The Oasis after everything else was over.
May have been after the Idol show but I don't think so.
Somewhere in the black hole of my EHD I may have some of the info from the person who took the video - like her name and the names of the people he sat in with.

ETA: Found the one I'm familiar with in my GoFish account - it had disappeared for a while and then was re-uploaded - -
the credit for the video is given as 'Jools' and that does ring a bell now that I see it.
Will still see if can find the names of the musicians though.

There was also a funny but rather depressing story of the bodyguard having to keep a couple of bedazzled idiots from following Taylor into the bathroom.
It was speculated that the Van Morrison tag about chasing exotic birds was directed at them. Think we were just starting to see the loony fringe element emerging back then.

There is / was another one from the same night - think it was Night Moves - - will see if can find the second video somewhere - - know I saw a short clip at one time. Need . A . Capture . Program ! ! !

Linda, your memory is correct about the second one. I think it was something like 3am when he got on stage. I loved that as soon as I saw it the first time, and it just put a big smile on my face. I want and need more of that Taylor. Soon!!!

Wow, was it ONLY two years ago? Sometimes it seems like it's a very long time ago, doesn't it?
The first clip was apparently done before Idol, note Shaggy Taylor, I don't think I've seen it. The second one I've seen many times, but it's one of the best.

I'm sad that there are no shadow tour stories this year. It would be a blast to see Cook, Michael, Carly and Castro jamming in a bar someplace, do that "Barracuda" thing they wouldn't let them do on tour. They keep the kids on tight leashes. Taylor blew the lid off that TV show, they didn't forgive him, and they won't let it happen again.

I think there were so many videos coming out from the Workplay
B'ham extravanganza I just missed it I do remember the story
about the crazed fans and the bathroom

lol I think the problem is some are not even old enough to get into bars What's the Barracuda thing?

There was a leak that Cook was arranging the Heart song, Barracuda for Carly, she would sing, Cook would play guitar, and Jason would play drums... the Season 6 gang did some "band" numbers.

The tour bosses didn't go for it. A big mistake, in my opinion.

Jason turned 21 since the start of the show, so I think Ramiele and Archie are the only two still under legal age.

We haven't seen this gang break out of the shell musically.

I think the band numbers would've added to the show big time. Too bad they didn't let it happen. Imagine if they had an Idol Battle of
the Bands where each season put a band together to compete? The
ratings on that show would be through the roof!
