When I said that it gets ugly in line, I mean that these fairgoers are NUTS, especially for free stuff *lol*. Imagine the combination of being nuts for free stuff AND being nuts for Taylor?!?! YIKES!!
I've been going to the Big E for lots & lots & lots of years ( dayum, I'm old 
) & know that the crowds are awful, but yet I still go back every year for those awesome cream puffs *lol*. They are to die forrrrr!! They're as big as your head, no lie!!
Anyhoo, maybe I'm just borrowing trouble, but I like to think of it as preparing for the worst. 
I hate General Admission but will do it for Taylor. Plus hanging out with you guys will be worth it too. 
We SHOULD have a special block of seats, huh? Yup yup!

I say we book the hotel right away (see earlier in thread-The Clarion
looks like a really cool one, close and affordable, with a shuttle to
the Big E). We can also work on seeing if we could get an area for
NESP-sooner or later we should have some clout right????

Agree with booking the Clarion ASAP - rate is good and the shuttle is a big plus.
Put me down for one room - hubby didn't say no so assume he will be coming with me

rooms. Triple AAA rate was low too (around $90). There's a package

I'll call for a group rate early next week. Just trying hard to get through
Cohasset and Hyannis, real job,etc. Can't plan anything else until
June 18 If someone else wants to call them and get a block
of rooms that's cool too, if anyone has extra time. If not, we'll handle
it next week. Sounds like we have a good list going already
