Yes Duff, my mother is almost 77 years old but she thinks Taylor is very nice looking indeed!
I am concerned about her being on her feet all day...she can't take too much walking, so she said we can just leave her wherever the best food is at the fair and come back to get her later in the day!

You guys can't forget the Big E cream puff.  OMG...I'm pretty sure it's bigger than my head!

Baked potatoes, clam fritters, big ole honkin' smoked turkey leg, kettle corn......
Who's bringin' the Pepto?!  Never mind, we'll have to dance it all off.

....and I STILL would like a special roped off section for the NESP.  We'z special dontcha know!!

LOL We used to call the really cute young guys that were good but
not good for you "twinkies" so all this twinkie and onion talk is
cracking me up

The food talk is making me hungry-It sounds like we don't need a
preparty with apps. at this event!!

I wonder if we could stake out an area using coolers or something as
sides for our group? Or purple blankets or something?

Purple blankets are a great idea!.

There's a sale item right there Liz - those portable seat cushions w/NESP on it...or a personalized blanket...or the coolers!!?!!

I will be super happy if anyone (? Karen) can manage a reserved section for NESP because with my 3 kids and elderly mother along for the event I can't wait it line several hours before the show. It would be awesome to know that we have decent seats even if we arrive 30 minutes before the show!

Ditto for me thinking we should reserve a spot in line. I don't mind helping hold the spot for a while.. but Tom will be with me and he will want to wander around and see stuff. Do we have a banner or something? The more "Official" we look the better our chances are of holding our turf LOL

I kind of like the blankets idea because we can cover a lot of space
and take turns watching the area. Let's brainstorm after this weekend-
my brain is fried

I contacted the guy in charge of group promotions and he said because this is a free concert he won't do anything for us.(not very friendly)

They will make arrangements for those who are handicapped or elderly so I could check into that for your mom, Andrea.

I'm going to talk with some contacts in the band and crew and see what I can do for our group. I will also try to ask Taylor because I bet he will okay it for us.

Let me work on it a little and remind me to check back in.

I've got some great PR stuff in the works for us!
