Hey guys! I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone. Yes it's taken me this long to recover from last weekend and catch up on things around home! ( Guess I don't recoup as fast as I did in my twenties! ) But I needed to do this.
When Taylor came into my life,my whole world changed, as I'm sure it did for everyone here. I am so much happier with what I know about myself now and what I am able to do. Way back when-during AI- I went to the "official' site(or so I figured) TOSP ,having never gone to a fansite , it sounded good. But I found myself overwhelmed with its size and found information easier at Gray Charles. I nestled in at another fansite( yet still checked info at GC) , which was more homey to me, and to this day go there daily and have great friends. When I met Karen at Foxwoods, she told me about NESP. I thought it was a great idea, everyone being from the same portion of the country, so I poked around a bit. I started posting here and there in the past month or two and have found everyone to be very nice and nonjudgemental and very funny! ( Which to me is as important as anything!) I was a bit nervous meeting up with everyone at Cohasset, only having met a couple of you before, and really worried about fitting in. This is where the thanks comes into play. I want to thank all of you for being so welcoming. I know I am one of the "new kids" , but nobody made me feel that way. Everyone was so nice and down to earth. I met up with some other friends there too and I love how it doesn't matter which website you are from, everyone can intermingle. I dig that about the Soul Patrol!
I wish I could have spent more time with everyone , but I know there will be more opportunities in the future for that. I met alot of you, and I know all of your faces. I don't know most of your names, and it will take a few more meetings for me to put the screen names with the faces, and the real names with the screen names, but it will happen I'm sure. I feel like I have a bunch of new friends, and you can't have enough friends.
So thanks to all of you, for being so kind. I hope to spend alot more time with everyone in the future! Thank you.
