TayFan1-Don't give up! I think it's great that fans are doing projects
that promote Taylor and spread the good word. Your magazine will
be great PR for him Highfive I think it's a shame that his fan base
isn't more united, but we're working on it Huggy
I know I have already, commented on this thread but I need to add my two cents again! This is a very positive and constructive Taylor Hicks fansite Because most of the time I view the world through rose colored glasses I don't like to see the negativity on a daily basis, all it does is bring you down,Plus the people who write some of that stuff just seem to do it for the attention. Most times I will skip over it because if I read it it makes me too angry ! Taylor has brought nothing but joy into the lives of his fans. That is what I like to focus on,promoting Taylor in any way that I can is one of my passions!! Everyone here is simply wonderful and I am so glad to be a part of it! Thanks for listening and being here for us!
My grandmother always told me there are only 6 rude people in the world, they just move around a lot.

For the most part, the Soul Patrol is a wonderful and supportive group.  Everyone has bad days I guess.  If we can help them through it by letting them vent and get frustrations off their chests, maybe that will help.  ???

It's nice to find positive sites, and NESP is such an awesome place!  I've said it before, you all have such a wonderful, giving reputation and you make the Soul Patrol look its best.  Thanks for all you do!!
From where I sit, this is a very organized site with many devoted fans.  You all seem to respect each other and the music, as well as Taylor's privacy and personal space.  It was so completely evident at the Concord concert on Friday--it was great that he was interating with you guys so much.  It seemed as if he was playing and dancing for you guys, as well as the entire venue.  Listen, I dont consider myself a groupie or a big fansite kind of gal, but you all are wonderful and I can see how Taylor and the guys really appreciate such a devoted group like NESP.  Im actually honored and surpised that you accepted me here--its so hard to find a fanbase where there isnt too many politics going on!

We had fun getting to know you guys and want to hang out at the next concert--I consider NE a second home and have no problem travelling there!

Everythings good and positive and thats what's important!

Hi Kimberly,

I am so glad you joined us! The more time I spend with our group, online or in person, the more I respect them. Many of the members spotted Taylor "around town" in Concord.. and all observed him for minute from a discreet distance, then walked away. To me that is the true meaning of being a fan -letting the artist have space, privacy and the freedom to choose when and if he will be available to fans. And to accept that opportunity will not always happen and to move on without bitterness if it does not occur. The mutual respect between Taylor and NESP continues to grow and I am grateful to be a member of this wonderful group of fans!

Glad everyone agrees with the general philosophy Huggy  I think
most of the sites feel the same way and do moderate to keep the
negativity at a low level. Ironically, the worst one is HQ because I
don't think the mods there are into watching that closely and there are
some loose cannon fans that like to start stuff. I wish there would be
more respect there as it's his own site! Roll Eyes

I think Gypsee will help squash any negativity at the HQ site. Thank God Taylor put Gypsee on board!

I agree Duff! Oh and had a ball sitting with you and your husband! Told him he needed to wait till it was quiet and yell "I love you Taylor"! He cracked up!

Hi Gina,

Tom had fun sitting next to you too !! I think he would have needed more than one pre-concert drink to yell that out !! He is a quiet guy, but he does really enjoy the NESP a lot and gets a real kick out of some of the antics that go on !!

Duff

Thanks everyone for the kind and positive words about the group. It
really is a like minded gang of fans that just want to have some fun
and enjoy Taylor and the music. WoohooConcord felt great, as they were comfortable enough to chat with our group, and relax. The more the merrier definitely applies here-the more people we meet the better it gets, and it's great PR for Taylor too with more people spreading the
word. Glad everyone is having a good time-that's the goal. WinkSuggestions always welcome here as well-just PM the mods Huggy
