New England Soul Patrol, you’re being called into service! Join us in a campaign to help Taylor promote his new book!
NESP is joining Random House in a contest and promotion called Hearts Full of Soul for Taylor. Random House is donating signed copies of Heart Full of Soul for the contest, which will run from June 30 to July 15 to coincide with the release of the book.
What are we asking? Simply that you purchase copies of Taylor's book. The top 5 purchasers will receive a signed copy of the book. In addition, everyone purchasing a book will be entered into a raffle to be eligible to win a signed book. The list of purchasers will also be forwarded to Taylor’s team to start an email list for future promotions. All fans are welcome to participate and help spread the word.
The goal is to get the book in as many public libraries across the country (and world) as we can. Soul Patrollers would purchase a book and donate it to their local library to spread Taylor’s word and music to as many people as possible. This effort would give Taylor great PR for years to come. They can sign the inside cover with their name and “Soul Patrol.” We will compile a list of each town/library that has received the gift of a book and forward that to Taylor so he can see the scope of how many people he has touched with his special talents and spirit. People could also donate books to after school programs, Boys and Girls Clubs, purchase an audio book for a school for the blind, give them as gifts, etc.
The last time Taylor asked the Soul Patrol to rally he won American Idol. Let’s show him we’re behind him on his newest venture with just as much enthusiasm. Let’s have all the fan sites participate together and show him some serious numbers! Make Taylor proud and give back to him just a token of what he has given to all of us.
