Liz, I was definitely thinking we should have t-shirts for the Big E. All of us walking around in the T's that day would be awesome. I can definitely design something for this, just like I did mullet toss. Wouldn't take a lot of time.
Would we use the same person to make the shirts? Also, there as been some request from a v-neck T.
The woman I used for the Mullet Tees has a huge catalog and can
do sweatshirts, nightshirts, tees, hats, etc. She can get v necks if
people want them. I thought her prices were good, very comparable
to cheapo ones online and hers were good quality. However, if
someone can top her deal (do you print them yourself Mari?) and has someone that they'd like to use instead that's fine too. She can also do quick stuff as needed which might be good if we have the store (which I'm all for!!).
Maybe in their spare time (lol) Mari and Tricia can work on some
designs to see what people would like. Meanwhile, we're rapidly
getting ahead of ourselves again

:rotfl: We now have a separate T shirt thread for that whole project to keep this thread ontrack for the 4 charities and current items we're trying to figure out.
I vote T shirts & hoodies for Big E...could be cold end of September and a nice warm hoodie.....

Water bottles...can we still order them & use money towards the charities for the other NE shows?
Idea for Concord: "auction Taylor in Sox shirt photo" was posted on first page of this thread. Great idea!
My thought:
EBAY!
Post link on all Taylor sites.....should generate cash for to send kids from the school to concert.
Do we have a goal for this one?
To select the students...Liz had a great idea about an essay contest and selecting two winners, and maybe a Meet & Greet.
Have ideas on how to promote this also...let me know when you are ready for them.....

I think the music school should select the students, they know who would most enjoy Taylor's type of music.. it's a music school after all, not an essay writing school! If someone can snag a meet+greet for the kids, all the better.
When are we going to start the auction? I plan to do a little local publicity once it's underway.
Has anyone contacted the Portland charity? How are we raising money for them?
I don't think anyone has contacted Spiral Arts yet. Figured I'd wait
until we actually had more ideas to raise cash before we added them
in (and maybe a creative idea specifically for them?)
I'll have 3 tickets for the Portland show in my hands tomorrow night that can be donated to them if they'd like them...I wish there were more.
