I don't think anyone has contacted Spiral Arts yet. Figured I'd wait
until we actually had more ideas to raise cash before we added them
in (and maybe a creative idea specifically for them?)

OK OK I'll explore their site & put on thinking cap in next day or so. (may even have seed germinating in the think tank....Wink )

First...finalize RI Wink
Second...develop Concord idea Wink

Maine was next.....Smile

Amy that's excellent re tix for Portland for donation. I wonder if we
could sponsor a little contest through SpiralArts (which would
would spread the word re Taylor coming). Have people submit art
and any submission gets a raffle ticket to win a ticket? Maybe they
could do a little "local gallery" to display submissions. Not have a
grand prize or anything-just create art for fun and exposure? It would be easy to make a flyer if they were into the idea...Woohoo

P.S. I just emailed them and called it Gallery of Soul to see if they're
open to something like this Heart

Yes! Excellent idea re: art contest!

Liz - let us know what you find out. I got the tickets from my friend tonight and they are located in Terr 2, Row C, Seats 1, 2 & 3. Too bad we couldn't buy a few more to donate?
Deirdre has stuff all set up for Rhode Island Food Bank and will
be posting the info soon. Basically we'll donate food items that Karen
will drop off, and do donations towards Kids Cafe. People can donate
online and we'll have our own NESP link on their site for virtual
shopping (great exposure for NESP-great job Deirdre!) We can collect
the food items in the parking lot preshow at Lincoln.

Spiral Arts was very receptive and I have a phone call with them
tomorrow. They liked the gallery/tix idea and seem really excited
that we picked them. Will post more info as I get it.
Great Liz! Can't wait to see what we can do for them!
Do we have a report from the SpiralArts meeting yesterday?
Alicia - Deb!

Let us know how it goes tomorrow night in Portland!
Quick update on the Concord Y project. Tricia got them a flyer and
the kids made the boxes. I talked to the Director, and he said the
boxes are up and going, the kids are REALLY excited about this,
and that we're going to have some good entries by next week. He
also said he'll take some pics for us. He is such a nice man Huggy
I can't wait to see what they come up with Haha

Also, I did get the koozie/can coolers. I'm going to be selling 24 of
them (12 will go to the band/crew) for $7 each. Not going the paypal
route as they'll take fees. Will just sell them at the preparties so more
will go to the charity. Here's a pic of them...
