Here are the ones we've picked to help for the upcoming 4 summer
shows. I consolidated into one thread as we are all confused Haha

Twin River Show, Lincoln RI
http://www.rifoodbank.org/matriarch/Mult...E_KidsCafe
If someone lives near there, we will collect cans/food items and drop
them off. We'll also have a check for the KidsCafe program. We can
collect the donated items in the parking lot before we hit the gambling
area in the afternoon.

Portland ME Show
http://www.spiralarts.org  We'll donate a check.

Torrington CT Show
The Warner Theater has a program for kids for the performing arts.
We can donate a check there and keep it simple.

Concord NH Show
Concord Community Music School
http://www.ccmusicschool.org/
We're trying to send some kids from the school to the concert. Just
waiting to hear back from the school.

We'll need ideas on how to raise cash for all of these. We'll auction
the signed Taylor in Sox shirt photo for Concord. We can sell NESP
items (do you guys want mousepads or pillowcases with Taylor pics
on them? this would be fast, easy, and fun...we could use the THUD
pic, or any one that someone in the group took). If people live near
the areas they could try canisters like we did for Baby Center here
on the Cape. I don't think we'll have huge checks for any of these,
but it's the thought that counts! It would be cool to get some kids to
the concert-I think Taylor would enjoy that Woohoo
I think a mousepad with the Red Sox Jersey photo would do very very well. I think there would be a demand beyond our group for that one.
The woman will do a few different mousepads if we want. We could
do Sox photo,Thud photo, etc. If members have some great pics we
could work with them too, as long as they're the property of the member and they can give us written permission to use it. Ditto for
pillowcase. Also, feedback on if you want them to say anything would
be good.Highfive
Thank you for this one thread!
It makes my life so much easier Wink
All those charities sound excellent.

I wouldn't purchase a mousepad myself since I have a laptop, but I'm probably in the minority. Cassie thought a bookmark would be a cool idea. Couldn't get much money for it, but I do like the idea. Wouldn't do a pillowcase, but I would buy a coffee mug.
LuvTay: You could pin the mousepad to your office wall and admire it whenever you feel the need. (from "1000 uses for a Taylor Red Sox mousepad").

I was thinking about a potholder, but realized it wouldn't cool anything down....
I still want a t-shirt...

Since I have a new mousepad *ahem* I'm all set there...

LOL @ the potholder...creative though!

"The only potholder that heats up your pots & pans...the all new Taylor Hicks potholder"
I'm waiting on a list from the woman who does the mousepads, etc.
Don't know if she can do mugs, but that's a good idea. We could
probably make our own bookmarks at some point. LOL on the
potholders not keeping anything cool. Haha

Should we do our official Tshirts (or hoodies?choice of either?) for
the Big E? I don't know if we could pull together the design, etc. in
time for August shows-they're approaching fast Woohoo
I would buy either a T-shirt or a mousepad (or both) with the "THUD for NESP" picture on it or some other really handsome photo on it! Grin
Between me and Tricia, I think we can get a whole store operating before Big E!  I am a t-shirt designing fiend and can translate it to hoodies no problem, if Trishie sends me the font and everything.  (Maybe I should ask her about all this first... nah.  I know you're swamped, baby! Kiss )  Definitely can have it done in the next 2 weeks if I give up things like sleep. Haha

Haven't been in previous threads on this, and if I have, I don't remember: do we have a printer to do clothes, or are we thinking Cafe Press (like TMS has) or something else similar?
