Stacey baby, excellent summary! Interestingly, lying in bed I had come up with the idea of a teal shirt. That will stand out walking around the Big E.

It is very important for the group to start to "brand" ourselves. As Linda said, consistent message. Liz, Karen and I have had a number of conversations on this subject. I think we started that with the water bottles, and we need to make it a priority now. So we will be using our logo wherever possible and what we consider to be our brand colors - teal and purple.
These sound like they're going to be nice.

I have a question about the water bottles from before. I had ordered 2, but still need to get them. I wasn't at the concert where they were handed out. Maybe I could have them sent to me(I'll pay for postage) or can get them at a future concert. I'm going to the Concord concert?
I vote for V neck long sleeves or hoodies. I have so many short
sleeved tshirts that I never wear.Roll Eyes

Definitely like the teal/turquoise color too (make them different than
Taylor's).Woohoo I like simple designs-would wear them more. I'd be more likely to buy a button that says Will Travel....than to wear it on a
sweatshirt. JMO

LOL how come everything for the BigE just falls nicely into place and
that's the one that's two months away? We already have shirt idea,
hotel,gift idea,etc. Haha
Teal sounds GREAT but what will the lettering/logo color be to stand out on a teal background?

I love the idea of a hoodie having the logo on the back and may I request the hoodie be at least 70%cotton.... many gray sweatshirts have 80% cotton/20% poly and keep their shape/don't shrink....it may cost a few $ more but the 50/50 blends pill over time.

Also...when they are done/chosen and we are ready to order Ts and/or hoodies can someone PLEASE post a garment chest measurement to go along with the S M L XL XXL??? I always buy tops based on the chest measurement and would hate to order the wrong size. THANKS a million! Highfive
Thought you gals might get a kick out of this old note I have from when I watched the WNTW show - - short sleeves emphasize broad upper chest area and shoulders - - rule of thumb if you find yourself removing shoulder pads from things to avoid looking like a linebacker or a sofa pillow you should avoid short sleeves  Haha

Trying to hit all the points

Style of shirt - -
hoodie - - understand the appeal but have no interest
V-neck or scoop neck  -  fine with both
Sleeve options - -
> >  prefer long sleeves if have the larger women's sizes - - unisex sizes sleeves can be horribly long
> >  can live with short sleeves
> >  love the 3/4 sleeves in the stores for the past year  - really versatile - maybe that could be a compromise  if available ? ?

Design - -
> > agree with Liz on the simpler design and being able to wear it more often - - I love the mullet toss shirt but rarely wear it unless it is just to run to a grocery store
> > yeah -  the "will travel " does make it a just for concerts shirt for me too and would love to have something I would wear a lot - - like the button idea and will post a further thought on that
> >but do love the shooting star with NESP - - don't know if this is what Tricia had in mind but to me it signifies Taylor's progress over the past year and into the future

Colors - -
>> a nice teal shirt would be OK but think Seger makes a good point about what to use with it - silver would be logical but probably not strong enough
>> know I may get some resistance on this but the right teal and purple can work very well together - - especially if it is a fairly simple outline design with no heavy blocks of color
  TEALPURPLETEAL
those are just from the limited colors available on here - a company should have most of the pantone color chart available to work with

last point - - promise
know we are probably 100% female here but should we think about a "guy option" too ? - - maybe find a really nice shade of gray for the shirt  - - probably with a crew neck - - think most guys would be OK with purple or even teal lettering
just thinking about shirts for Taylor and the band - - or even for a future store

really like this idea because can wear it on anything for a concert - and we can sell them at an "impulse price point" i.e. cheap enough no one can resist  Grin

I think I even know where I can get my hands on a button maker - will check tomorrow if the right person is in her office

maybe the water bottle "will travel for Taylor Hicks" slogan could be the unifying theme used on our merchandise as we develop it ? ? ? ?

ITA with you Linda on the hoodie...I don't do pullover sweatshirts for whatever reason. I have a couple of zip-up hoodies that I love however. I doubt that will work for what we're trying to do here.

I still like the short sleeve idea...it can be worn in summer and just layer it when it's chillier. It's all the rage right now. Smile

As far as something on the back...I still go back to "Taylor leads, we follow". "Will travel for Taylor" is fine too. Just another option I guess.
If the logo is printed on the back, there is no reason the hoodie cannot be a full zip front....everyone probably prefers that anyway. Grin Heading into fall I am definitely interested in buying the hoodie so I hope it makes the cut!

A light to medium shade of teal with light to medium purple lettering and stars....graphics/words could be outlined in black or outlined in white to "pop" and be more easily read by other peeps. Cool

I like "Taylor leads, we follow" on either a button or at the bottom of the shirt (in smaller font) under the bigger NESP graphic. Smile

So many opinions! Good luck designing and producing...looking forward to the finished items!
How does everyone feel about this?

Beautiful color and I like the style-real feminine!
