Taylor Hicks - Up Close and Personal
A discussion of his new book, Heart Full of Soul


BIRMINGHAM- American Idol winner, Taylor Hicks will be at Boutwell Auditorium on July 20, 2007, 6:30 pm for a discussion of his new book, Heart Full of Soul.

This one of a kind event will feature Taylor as never seen before. All in attendance will be able to hear Taylor as he shares stories from his book, talks with friends and family and answers questions from the audience.

General admission is $37.50 and will include an autographed book by Taylor on a souvenir bookplate commemorating the event.  To purchase tickets visit http://www.ticketmaster.com.

Together, FOX 6 WBRC and Alabama BookSmith hope this unique event will much needed funds for Kid One Transport. Ticket sales from this event will help transport thousands of children and expectant mothers in Alabama to much needed medical care that otherwise have no other means.

With Taylor’s title of 2006 American Idol, he has brought awareness and support to Kid One through his world wide fan base; the Soul Patrol. The Soul Patrol have pulled together to help support a mission that Taylor holds near and dear to his heart; the mission of Kid One Transport.

AgingHippie...I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!

Karen invited me to help "man" the KOPS table at this book event many weeks ago and it killed me to have to say no! I have a young family and cannot just take off whenever I want to. Now they announce this 2 hour after party with Brian...whhaaaaaa!
Cassidy posted some video of Brian playing and singing at this same lounge and he was awesome...covering some Billy Joel and Elton John....whaaaaaaa!

I'll bring back the goods, y'all! I have a crappy camera, but if nothing else, I can tell the tale! I'll even take notes at the book reading, just like in school!

your first hand account with notes,pics,etc. Glad you'll be representing
NESP at this really cool event.

I don't know how much he'll be reading from the book, but he'll be talking up a blue streak. AND his family will be there to answer questions so you know we'll get the goods (and the not so goods) on Taylor now!! Start thinking of some good questions! I bet Grandmother Joni will spill the beans for us!! HA!!

Oooh... questions, huh? Wellllll, nowww.... it seems I have some evil planning--- I mean, homework to do! Yeah, that's it. Soul Patrol homework, that's due in three weeks!

This is going to be the best night! Not only are we supporting Kid One, but with every ticket purchased, we'll get Taylor's book and that helps support him!!

The After Party is an extra! We can support Brian from Limbo as well! It's a Trifecta!!!
