Did anyone see this yet? It aired at approx. 5:45 this evening on Fox News Channel.
Here are my thoughts in the form of a letter:

Mr. Gibson,
Taylor Hicks was on your show today to promote his new book Heart Full Of Soul. It was painfully obvious that you did not read the book or any part of it. You aired fan comments about Taylor's hair and young fan questions about American Idol and advice on a singing career. You asked Taylor about winning American Idol, Katharine McPhee and Simon Cowell....WTF????
Taylor smartly bought you back around with a mention of his many road stories IN THE BOOK. Oh, yeah....that's right....he was there to answer questions about his BOOK. Mr. Gibson, with all due respect, YOU ARE A WEINER!!!

Andrea....I didn't see the interview but from what I have read Mr Gibson conducted a horrible inteview.What is it with these guys ? Did you send him your letter?

No. I never intended to send the letter. I was frustrated and that was my way of expressing my feelings. The GMA interview was so much better....no comparison really. When you are supposed to interview an author about their new book doesn't it make the most basic sense to read (at the very least) part of it and stick to the topic of the book's contents in the 3 minutes or so that you have for the interview?

Hopefully things will go better for Taylor tomorrow on The View and Hannity & Colms...where by the way, Hannity does 90% of the talking to Colms' 10%!   At least TH got some TV exposure and they showed the book a few times on the Fox News Channel today.

The GMA interview was very good,Chris did a wonderful job and was well informed about the book.It is frustrating when an interviewer seems to have no regard for the topic and instead choose to start one of their own.It amazes me how many ways they think of to ask the same superficial questions.I hope putting your thoughts down helped,I do that all the time,it's a great outlet !

Andrea - - Thank you for just venting and not sending the letter - - love all you guys in the NESP family for your common sense and maturity -

unfortunately the SP shows up in my Alerts every so often because of an element of the fan base that is causing some problems by their attacks - many over minor things that really aren't all that bad making the comments even more unjustified - - when I go look there are always some very well done comments that address the issues but there are often some really emabarrassing ones too - - think we are a long ways from having a movie made knocking us as is happening with another fanbase but wish more people would follow Andrea's example.
