Hi guys!  Boy - I hate that I haven't been here in a while. Sometimes I just want to come play... but we have been so busy, there just hasn't been enough time in the day.  

I wanted to give a recap of the UP&P event in B'ham - you guys have always been so supportive and I wanted you to know we love you!

Ok - here is what went on in B'ham...

Not that we were expecting anything less, but the UC&P event in Birmingham was fantastic! KOPS sold tons of t-shirts, bookmarks and cookbooks raising even more money for Kid One! Taylor was wonderful, funny, and just a joy to listen to.

Thank you guys for supporting this project for Kid One. You always come through and we hope you had a great time!

Highlights of the night (besides Taylor!) were:

*We had three lucky winners - two winning the autographed posters of Taylor and the other winning the autographed guitar!

*We got to hang out backstage with all the VIP's, Suzanne, Stacy, etc... oh, and Taylor - where I finally got the chance to meet him!!!

*We met Russell A. Jackson, founder of Kid One - presented him with an engraved pen/keychain gift set - loved meeting him -that was very cool!

*We were able to present Tracy (CEO of Kid One) with a beautiful plaque commemorating their Ten Year Anniversary, serving the children of Alabama...

*Met so many new soul patrol members - wonderful folks we have been talking to, but had never actually met before! You guys rock!

*Had a great time with Jennifer at brunch Saturday - what sweetheart!!! We had a blast with her!

*And most importantly... with your love and support - raised MO Money for Kid One! Woohoooo!

I am sure there will be more recaps to come - pictures, too!

Thanks again EVERYONE that supported this project whether it was financial or in spirit! You guys really to Rock!!!

LeAnn, thank you for the recap. It clearly was a highly successful event, and Taylor enjoyed himself as well.

Thanks for the recap LeAnn. I think I'll have to go over to kidone and get some bookmarks. They will make great stocking stuffers.

I have a signed copy of Taylor's book listed on eBay starting this afternoon....money to go to KOPS/Kid One. He signed this one in NYC, not in AL.


More signed things from Taylor to come in the next few weeks...I'll keep you all posted ...some really cool things in the works!
