Monday August 22

The Altoona, PA Curve, AA baseball team features Ace Young as part of their Idol Series. Ace will sing the National Anthem before the game, and then sign autographs for fans throughout the evening. Thud
I'm not a huge Ace fan - but wouldn't this be fun. He needs to come do a Portland Sea Dogs game!!!! Is he just going to wander around the stands signing autographs? ha ha

(And I know you mean Andrea from WI - not SegerHicks in the Thread Headline, right?)
She doesn't mean me! Ace is a VERY nice guy and I know someone in San Diego who LOVES him and has seen him about 4 times since the AI tour last summer but.....he's NOT my type! Tongue
Oh, I knew she didn't mean you. My friend Andrea (who you will meet at the Concord show) is an Ace fanatic - and she even told Taylor so. Very funny reaction to that story...ha ha!!!
Ace seems like a very sweet, generous and hard working guy.

Even though he's just about the only one from Season 5 without a CD, if "It's Not Over" gets nominated for Grammys, as the co-writer with Chris D, he may be one of the few Idols with a songwriting award. It would be worth it for Ace's sake.
About that...I heard Ace tell Larry King that he co-wrote that song with Chris but I did not see Ace's name anywhere in the liner notes on Daughtry CD.
SegerHicks: The songwriting credit is listed as "Brett Young", I believe.
This comes under the heading of "Could Not Care Less " but am bored waiting for reports to run so - - - - - - -

Remember some "discussion" over this on MJ's when I still used to check in there - - - don't have a clue what's on the physical album notes - especially the first printing - but Brett ( Ace ) Young was apparently added at some point

Miscellaneaous
Shortly after Daughtry was certified Gold, Chris Daughtry credited co-American Idol finalist Ace Young with contributing to the album's success, saying that Young helped write the chorus to the album's hit single "It's Not Over."
