Thought some of you may be interested in this find.We were down in Camden and Rockland over the week-end and I ran across at the STRAND in Rockland had in big BOLD letters announcing her in concert on Aug 19th tickets are 23.00.
Buddy Guy is going to be there on August 9th too...
Shemekia is also going to be at the White Mountain Boogie and Blues Festival in Campton NH on August 18, so if you want to extend your NH vacation after seeing Taylor, that would be a fun way to spend Saturday.. blues in the mountains!
I saw her a couple summers ago opening for BB King, she is hot!

Wasn't able to do Buddy Guy's show at the Strom Auditorium on the way down - that venue really needs better access for ticket info
but am going to be staying over in Rockland Sunday night to catch Shemekia's show at the Strand on my way back up to the northern Maine woods. Have listened to a lot of her music on Rhapsody and am really looking forward to her live show.

If I didn't have to pay attention to my personal life (which is feeling neglected with all these Taylor shows), I'd be going up to the White Mountain Blues Festival show.
