Gifts for upcoming shows Grin

CT  Emmax, Karen, and Mary have it all under control. They've got a nice package for Taylor-leather journal and writing stuff, and great chocolate musical notes for crew, and little girly bag for Caroline Heart I think Mary may have a DVD as well. Check in with
them for details or to contribute Huggy

Rhode Island Stool for Taylor!! Highfive
I'll pick up a cooler, stick some beer in the koozies for the band
If the bocce ball set arrives in time that will go with it...

Maine Luau Theme-I have 2 large colorful vinyl bags to put stuff in...

Taylor-fugly shirt (that's really cute ) Margaritaville book, and
odds and ends that people bring to put in the bag.

Band-Luau Party in a bag-Karen has some fun items, I have Luau CD
and inflatable limbo pole, some tiki shot glasses, and whatever
people want to add

Concord   Tricia and Mari are doing some awesome "manly" boxes for goodies for the crew and Taylor. We've also got some books, and I think a cool DVD for Taylor. People can bring packaged items from their state to include in both Heart

We'll take up a collection to pay for group gifts at preparties so
people can get reimbursed. Everyone can sign the cards, which I'll
pick up... which show are the mousepads for Bill & Taylor going to?

If anyone is reading this section and is confused, Linda, Tricia, and
I all seem to be goofing off from work at the same time. LOL threads
are being moved, accidently poofed, etc. It will all be clear soon (I
think Rotfl)
I bought a Maine card for us to sign for the Maine gift - if that's ok.  It's a painting of 2 chairs overlooking the ocean done by a local artist.

Grimsby will have the Tale of the Stool & photos of it in production.  I will have the "official NESP song request letter" to go along with it.

Amy,
How many songs made the request list? Or is it simply a request for more acoustic encores??

Andrea

The Fall and Ain't No Sunshine are the top 2...

I'll include Hope She's Happier, Here Comes the Sun and (insert 5th song here...what's a good one to stick in our Top 5 besides my personal favorite IYT - which isn't really a stool song)
NIGHT MOVES Grin Heart Grin Wink

First Cut Is the Deepest  -  Cat Stevens - 1967

I would have given you all of my heart
but there's someone who's torn it apart
and she's taking almost all that I've got
but if you want, I'll try to love again
baby I'll try to love again but I know

The first cut is the deepest, baby I know
The first cut is the deepest
'cause when it comes to being lucky she's cursed
when it comes to lovin' me she's worst
but when it comes to being loved she's first
that's how I know

The first cut is the deepest, baby I know
The first cut is the deepest

I still want you by my side
just to help me dry the tears that I've cried
cause I'm sure gonna give you a try
and if you want, I'll try to love again
but baby, I'll try to love again, but I know

The first cut is the deepest, baby I know
The first cut is the deepest

'Cause when it comes to being lucky she's cursed
when it comes to lovin' me she's worst
but when it comes to being loved she's first
that's how I know

The first cut is the deepest, baby I know
The first cut is the deepest
