Yes, she's my little"alarm clock" now!! LOL She has some MAJOR kitty fits in the morning!!!

I have three older Himilayans. My aunt used to breed them. Christie is 18, Stormy is 17 and Frosty is 16. They all have their own personalities and it seems like I am just raising my family here in "their house."

Christie stays downstairs and is seriously like a watch dog. She won't tolerate any other animal visitors in our house!! She'll go right up to a dog that is ten times bigger than her and start batting at it. She loves peach yogurt, carrots (she reacts to them like catnip if they are whole) and she slurps up carrot baby food. She is a lap cat and I put a blanket on my lap and she will knead until she finds the right position.
Stormy stays up on our bed practically the entire day. He is like a little old man now. He doesn't bathe himself well anymore and I have had to put an additional litter in my bathroom. He started having accidents and I just think he couldn't make it to the basement. He sleeps with us at night and has to be touching us in order to be happy. He will only drink water from a cup on our bathroom sink and he waits for me to freshen up the water for him when he sees me.
Frosty almost passed away when he was 12. He had a liver infection and kept losing weight. I took him to Univ of PA vet hospital downtown. They biopsied his liver and he lost so much blood. They gave him a transfusion and saved him. At the time, we were saving for our wedding and I remember the bill was $1000.00. My DH dubbed him the million dollar cat. I had to have him on meds for approx. one year but he made a full recovery. He sleeps with my son every night and he meows really loud when he wants attention. I call it "crying".
Anyway, I will come back and post a picture or two of them. I have four kids and thankfully, none have had any allergies to them. I realize I am lucky they are still with me and I am preparing myself for when that day comes. Now I know where to come for support. I enjoyed reading all your cat stories.

I can tell from reading your post how much you love your cats! Cat people are always good people in my book! I am looking forward to seeing pictures of your furbabies.
And you are right, when that horrible day comes, hopefully not for a good long while, there are lots of people here who will support you!! You can ALWAYS pm me . I have dealt with losing a lot of cherished cats, which I'm sure you know, since you read the whole thread. So I will always be here if you need to talk.
