I had three cats, first Nala and Simba, Simba was my BABY BOY! He was 4 years old when we moved into a new apt. One morning Greg was popping open a can of food for him and he had his paws up reaching towards the counter like always, Greg heard a thud and he was on the ground his tongue blue. He raced him to the vet and apparently had a brain anurisym (and no I can't spell it). I sobbed for the entire day! Then we got Jasmine and Oliver, yes had alittle disney theme going on there! We bought a house and Jasmine and Nala and finally Oliver just couldn't adapt. They pee'd everywhere in the diningroom destroyed the brand new carpet that was in there. Oliver I miss soooo much ( I do get pics of him every once in a While, he's with someone Greg works with), Jasmine was Miss Priss and VERY independant. Nala was a sweetie. Had to get rid of all 3!
I have now two dogs, a Chocolate Lab named Kahlua and a Rat Terrier named Jeter. Jeter is a spastic ass while Klu is such a big baby and doesn't ever bark. If I can get a pic of the two together I'll post it.
I'm so sorry about Simba!! It is so hard to lose a beloved pet...esp. with no warning! And I am sorry your other 3 couldn't get used to the new place- you must miss them so much! Looking forward to the picture of your dogs,though!
Sassy update(My kitty with cancer who I talked about in the support thread)- she is doing well, except for some coughing, which is apparently normal after the operation she just had.
How are all the other Soul kitties and doggies and birds and....???
hi there everybody, i love talking about my kitty crackerjack as im not REALLY a cat person but this cat seems to have adopted ME lol.He was my dad's wifes cat and when they moved from maine to florida her daughter was supposed to be watching them for her. Well she never did and he was left outside for THREE MONTHS during that reeeeal cold winter we had i cant remember i think 04 anywyas, dad didnt know he wasnt being taken care of and when they came back and found out he'd been lost for three months he was not happy. So,he was gonna take him to the shelter to find ahome but then he thought we might want him we took hiim and he's been my boy ever since. He wasnt a very TAME cat at first as well to be exepcted being left outside for so long but he adjusted and got better and now he dont go out at ALL he's an inside cat (we rent)and he actually doesnt seem to mind. He's a spoiled brat but he knwos it lol. I swear sometimes he's half human cause he listens right to ya, ya tell him no his ears will flop down and he'll sulk off lolol its hilarious when i say come on he'll folla me right along when i ask for a kiss he'll bonk his head right on my forward and rub on me purring its so cute! He can be WEIRD sometimes tho like he likes to lick me on the arm and lick my toes,strange kitty but hey gotta love him. anyways thats all i can think about on my cat except that eh's a tiger cat and how do you post pix on here so i can do that? amy knows what he looks like but she hasnt seen him for a while...
Oh, Crackerjack sounds great!!! I LOVE cats and yours sure sounds so cute and like a real character,too! Then he puts his head down so I can kiss his forehead in return!

he's a character thats for sure!he'll do that too put his forehead down for me to kiss him lolol whenever he hears the can opener he comes runnin too cause iusually only open tuna with the canopener,they havent figured out to put pop tops on tehm yet lol,but he knows what i'm opening sometimes tho we can fool him cause wes'll open something else and he'll come runnin lolol

Oh, yeah, my cats love tuna too- tuna cat food, tuna treats, tuna everything!! My Gilligan loves roast beef!! He hears that plastic wrapper opening, he comes running!!! I cut it up for him into little bite size pieces!

[yes indeed go feed that man! im insulin depenedatn diabetic myself but not since childhood only about 10yers. So i understand! But i will say real quick that my cat LOVES mcd's fries he'll SIT there and WAIT until i get down to the crunchy ones that i dont like cause he knows he gts them lol what a spoiled brat lolol...anyways ill chat with ya later!

That is so cute-eating McD's fries-LOL ! My Gilligan (the one who eats roast beef) is a funny eater. Turns his nose up at most of the food we feed him and then we find him eating peices of lint or dust off the floor!!(Guess I need to clean more! LOL)
