But now when I'm headed to these shows, I want to start checking weather reports and dig my suitcase out about 3 weeks before I'm ready to leave! I just got out my suitcase and "condiments" bag. Esoteric joke - sorry!
I've got a load of laundry or two to do and I'm good to go! It's supposed to be warm for the most part and I've had my concert clothes thought out since I got back from the Cape shows.
Tomorrow night I get to gas the car up!

If I have any money left after I do that, I can come see all my new family members in Rhode Island and Portland!
Let's get the Hell out of Dodge for a while and enjoy ourselves!

Nothin like packing for a few good concerts and some new and old friends

AMEN........... I've got 3 more days but my bags are packed!
Have a great time everyone, savor every minute of hearing and seeing the fabulous Taylor Hicks.! OH,that voice !! Have a safe trip and report back with every detail !
Am I the only one who packs on Saturday morning??
I have been working on packing the gifts and NESP paraphanalia
though

My usual modus operandi is to finish about 3 AM for a 7 AM flight - - but since this time I have a 5 1/2 hour drive I suppose I'll actually have to get some sleep tonight - - the only thing I hate worse than packing is shopping for shoes and bras [ goes with the name ! ] - - am waiting for them to actually invent that teleporter thingy they had on the Enterprise - - beam home - - get dressed - - beam back ! ! !

Load of clothes washed - check
Packed Taylor's gifts - check
Bow for RI gift - check
Still need to: gas up car, clean off the memory card for the digital camera, find the 2nd set of batteries that I bought for it, repaint toenails, iron clothes, pack clothes, pack the Concord tix to give to Liz, pick out shoes, reprint RI gift letter, pack toiletries...
Have I forgotten anything? Wish I could go home and do some of this stuff instead of being at work this afternoon...
Oh well, one and a half more days of work and I can hit the open highway! Hooray!!!

OMG - is it 4:30 YET?????
And to top it off - Ain't No Sunshine is playing on the radio...the Bill Withers' version of course...
