Oh that is just too funny! Gonna do it?
They would not allow her in; why?
The M&G says no kids, spouses etc...only the one who bought the ticket gets the one M&G. She's gotten waves and smiles from him at the bus but that's all.
Greg and Emma will be with me at Margaritas for a hello but they may go elsewhere eventually, I don't have tickets for them for tonight, I was laid off from my job and already had this ticket and can't really afford to get them tickets but they will visit and say hello!

Theres my ice breaker with him this time! I will give him his gift, say "I asked my daughter what I should do when I sit with you, she told me to sniff your pits! He'll be like "OK Bill this one needs to leave"! LOL

Leaving CT at about 12:30p, it's a 3 hour drive. Hopefully traffic will be on my side and I can get to restaurant by 4:30 ish.

Couldn't be any worse than my gaff.....
Went in with my copy of The Story of the Stool that I'd written about the NESP stool present....from it's beginings as a simple bar stool, into it's development into what he'd gotten in RI the night before....
SO in I go thinking...this is great, I can talk about the stool, how he likes it....
I shake his hand, say HI...then "We're the stool people" comes out of my mouth. Him & Bill were dying!!! Then the recovery....."that didn't sound right...." but it was too late.."did you have a chance to read The Story of The Stool?"....everyone is still laughing hysterically "NO but I will...." and he puts it in the box of stuff I brought in.
My copy. Bill sees this & tells him "we have that Taylor".....:"Uh huh" At this point I became conscious that maybe I'd been in there too long, so I asked him to sign stuff for the guys that did the design & airbrushing....
What I'd meant to say was..."my husband built the stool" then show him the pictures, and talk about it. SO much for that plan
He did tell me the stool is "cool as hell" and obviously liked it because it came out in Portland! Hopefully tonight.
I did recover enough to say "Taylor can we get a photo of you & Bill?" after everyone had their M&G's. He said NO, I said "really", he said NO...as he got up, turned like he was going out, "Please" I said & smiled at him, NO...and he walked over & stood with Bill and a bunch of us took several photos of the two of them. All smiles.
Was a fun M&G and it sounds like yours will be too. At least I made him laugh.....

Maybe he'll remember "the stool lady"....one of the road crew called me that as I drove by them on Sunday...
see you later on....leaving within the hour to head up!
front row

I have three hour drive from the Cape too but want an early start; do not want summer traffic or any nonsense holding me back. The 128 beltway can be snarky on a Friday...so let's get on with it

The Stool Lady!! That's a riot! I should get a least a smile with the sniffing pits! LOL
Oh yeah...you'll get a laugh!
He'll be confused when he reads the note in his gift bag that says "I can't be at the Concord show because of the lobsterbake for 200 tomorrow...." and realizes HEY I saw that lady!!!
(I'm a last minute let's go on this show so I'd given my stuff to Liz the other night before I decided to come to Concord

)
Safe travels....see you at Maragaritas!
Deirdre

I WANNA GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
