Thanks TayBea!!!
Margaux....normally I wouldn't mind walking both ways but I am a little concerned about my shoes hurting my feet after a longish walk and then standing for quite a while at the venue....it's no big deal....if a bunch of us are walking together to the M&G it will be cool.
Whoever is transporting the g*f*s
from Margarita's to the venue will need a car for sure!

There's nothing about an opening act on the CCANH website.

As of tonight, no one has volunteered to do the Boogie cellcert. As I told AmyH, I'm too wound up about Taylor being in my home town, and the usher Nazis could be people I know!
However if you've always wanted to cellcert a concert, this is your chance. The folks at home really appreciate what you do. We'll make sure you know what to do. You can either let me know, PM AmyH at the Boogie, or visit this thread at the Boogie,

I can assist anyone who would like to do the cellcert - they are relatively painfree. I did the Portland one and everyone said it was wonderful. I have too many obligations at this show to feel like I can take the time and do it right.

Hi all.. been away and with my daughter and grandkids & now they are at my house until Thursday (!!) so have not had a lot of time to poke around here. Margaux, what type of parking is near the theatre that we might park and walk up to Margaritas? Like a store parking lot? Or does the theatre have parking? We will also park and walk to restaurant and then back to theatre for M&G. Anyone have a husband/BF who will be hanging around waiting for M&G to end? Mine would probably like company!

Hi Duff.
The theater does not have a parking lot.
There is parking in the street in front of and around the theater, but not a lot
This is the "parking and direction" info from the theater
http://www.ccanh.com/uploads/directions.pdf
There is also a brand new garage 3 blocks from the theater, on Main between Pleasant and Hills St. The entrance is on Storrs Street, which is the parallel street to Main, one block east. You pay up at the Main Street Pedestrian exit.
All parking in Concord is free after 5 pm.
Whatever you do do NOT park in the strip mall across the street, next to the Draft Pub. They will tow!

MORE ON PARKING:
This article explains the new parking garage, which is a bit confusing...
http://www.theconcordinsider.com/apps/pb...REPOSITORY
You don't feed a meter in this garage, you get a ticket when you enter. And when you leave, you put the ticket in a machine that decides what you owe, takes your cash and returns your change
Do you pay when you get there? This is the only garage that you can NOT get a parking citation for overtime parking! You pay just prior to returning to your vehicle. You get an entrance ticket upon entry to the garage and you take this ticket with you. Upon your return to the garage, and before returning to your vehicle, you stop and pay at the automatic pay station (APS).
Where do you pay? We currently have two APSs, and they are located at the Main Street level. You insert your entrance ticket in the APS. The APS will provide you the amount you are being charged, based on a rate of 50 cents per hour. You will be given a receipt and any change due. You will also remove your entrance ticket and it will be used in the exit gate. This process is called validating your ticket. This must also be done during the evening when free parking is in effect. This facility, like all parking in Concord, is free from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m.
Do you take credit or debit cards? We accept bills ($1, $5, $10, $20) and coins (nickel, dime, quarter and dollar coin). We currently do not accept credit cards, although the ASP is equipped for this in the future.
