It's official, some of us are heading to the Woodstock site. Waiting
to hear re tix-lawn vs. assigned. Taylor is the opening act for Earth
Wind & Fire-who's in???? It's affordable, it's outside, it's Woodstock,
and we can hear Reasons live (hopefully) and Taylor...priceless!

I am still on the fence about this one. I am having a problem in my own mind of seeing Taylor and not being within 10-15 feet of the stage. What is wrong with me?
.....not to mention the fact that I am basically broke at this point in time also.

just checked in to the Trade Winds in Rockland - only internet access is in the lobby - how primitive - LOL - and have already met 3 other people who are here for Shemekia Copeland's concert tonight - will post a concert tour recap of James Taylor's and hers when get a chance

Lawn seats are $50. Thinking it might be fun to do those as we could
stake out our own area and horse around more on the lawn. They
have chairs for rent for $5 or you can bring beach chairs. It's on an
incline so good sight lines to stage.
I found a motel just 4 miles away and you can get to the venue from
the back way to avoid traffic. Sounds like a great little place. Rooms
around $120 for two double beds. You can use their bbq pits for a
cook out,etc. It's The Fosterdale Motor Lodge in Cochecton NY and
is the closest motel to the venue.
