I think Lori, Diane, and some people from HQ are going too, but may
be doing lawn...we should have at least a small group representing
NESP!
The T shirt came yesterday and is cool

Can you share with us a sneak peek at the t-shirt?
Linda - I'm going to PM you about Friday night's overnight.

I just mapquested the trip - 9 1/2 hours from home to Bethel for me. Now I remember why I said I wouldn't do this trip...at least not alone! With you guys it should be relatively pain-free, right?

Searching for tix now, but not having especially good luck. LOL unless
you want to pay $249 and be front row center
Diane, have you been there before? Are all the seats protected from
rain or are you liable to get wet in the outer ones? I think we're getting
at least 4 tix, and can add 2 more for Lori and Diane if we need to.
Having a hard time getting a real person to answer any questions.
Sounds like we will end up in Section 7 somewhere....

Were you trying to call Ticketmaster or the Bethel Woods venue?
On a much more fun note...I just saw a commercial on the NBC NY channel for the Jones' Beach Earth Wind & Fire show with "Special Guest" Taylor Hicks. They play the Heaven Knows single but show Rehearsals.com footage for the ad. Produced by LiveNation.
Good stuff.

Amy and all,
the only thing that I have found for a venue box office number is for information only - - apparently all first market ticket sales are directed through Ticketmaster so - since Liz didn't have any more luck than I did with the secondary market ticket outlets - guess we are at their mercy - - and as near as I can find out unless someone has a walk-in outlet they can do there is no way to negotiate for specific sections - - hey Trish we need a p.o. 'd icon - LOL
am wondering if they are selling sections in rotation ? ? - - i.e. once they sell out section 7 they will either move back to the even side and start selling Section 8 or go to Section 9 - - either way it might be better to be a little more to the side and in the first part of the alphabet - - thoughts anyone ?
I can try the information number in the morning and see if they will shed any light on that theory - -
and also ask about the exposure for the last tier of seats - the $45 ones
hate being a pain about the cover but not keen on doing a 21 hour round trip drive to find myself sitting sitting in the rain
will post what I find out from the venue - - or can do PMs - - then we can decide which tickets to go for - - ? ?
and whether I'm going after a block of 4 or a block of 6 too please
no problem for me to keep haunting Ticketmaster - - will be stuck at my desk anyway - -

Post here if you'd like Linda. I'm easy...too easy when it comes to Taylor unfortunately! But agree about the rain and the drive...I'd be very upset.

We definitely don't want to be drenched! It sounds like Ticketmaster
is the only way to go. I tried to call the outlet here and they have
closed-I guess it was in Filene's. I tried Venue box office and Ticketmaster number and can't get a person at either. Frustrating!
The whole place looks cool, so whatever we get will probably be fine.
Maybe we should wait and see if they get rid of worse seats first and
open up good ones as they often seem to?
