Andrea - I intend to get as close to the front as I can.  You can trample the crowds with me. Haha

LOL Amy!
We'll have to exchange cell #s before next Friday. Highfive

Can someone tell me where the Comcast Arena is in relation to the Avenue of the States? Since we will be eating an early dinner and watching at least part of the parade in that area I was wondering how far away the venue is cuz I will get in line or check in with you and have DH bring my girls in later on after most of us have settled into seats (telling him via phone where I landed Grin)

I did not find a Fairground map on the website.

What time does the show start? 7:30??? 8:00???
Are people bringing blankets for the lawn just in case the seats/bleachers fill up fast?

The show is at 8. The mods have set some plans for the day and will start new threads once things are firmed up.

Andrea - PM me your cell # when you get a chance and I'll send you mine. Smile

the Comcast arena is off the south end of the Avenue of States

and here's the link to the map of the grounds  - it's kind of hidden in a drop down from the Area Info tab -
http://www.thebige.com/area_map_of_grounds.html

it's a PDF file - if you don't already have the Adobe program needed to open it there is a link to a free download -
used it to upgrade mine to the newer version Smile

I'm coming to this fair with Lori. I had a hard time finding this thread until Amy posted it at the Boogie. Thanks Amy!
You're welcome Diane! It will be nice to see you again!
Thanks Linda....I found the map and printed it up. Smile
There is a draft horse show that day and my daughter who is severely allergic to horses but loves them to death and plays very realistic horse show / horse jumping computer games all the time wants some horse action.....we will be spending some time in the horse ring!
Got to bring the Benadryl just in case!

Less than 2 weeks away!!!!  Woohoo
You're welcome Andrea - don't know why they put it with the off-site  area stuff - I only found it by accident when checking out their directions info
