ETA a qualifier - unless it's snow tire season

I need all I need to know! Where to get in line and where the bathrooms are! LOL That's all I need!
:woohoo:
Best concert I saw there was Chuck Berry, he was awesome, I didn't wait for seats though, I sat on the outside of the viewing area at the food tables and listened from there, he was great! I'll be in line first thing Saturday!
:w00tbounce:

Second, I want to say that you guys better be braced for some CROWDS! Oh Mylanta!! Every year, there seems to be more & more people!

We got there around 10:15. I would HIGHLY recommend you getting there around that time because the traffic gets backed up FOR MILES! No lie!
We parked at Gate 9 since we had taken a left turn instead of a right from the back way, but that's a moot point. Gate 1 I think is the way to go since it will lead you right to the Avenue of States (Liz, you already mentioned this, right?).
The gate that we should line up at looks like this:

It is at the end of the Avenue of States (The Rhode Island bldg is the last one), left around the bend. You will see this concession stand with the green awnings. The gate is to the left of that:

Luckily, there are rest rooms right there (Thank you, Lawd).

The police officer who was standing there was soooo nice. I asked him if this was the exact place that we line up for the concerts & he verified that. I asked because I noticed another gate to the Arena past this (one closer to the Midway), but he said that this was the place. We were chatting & I explained to him how I would be here next week to see Taylor Hicks. He told me the same exact tips that we have already been told...we are more than welcome to wait as a group & take turns holding the place (I explained that there would be about 50 of us & he said, "Sure, that's great" lol. He said that the only thing you can't do is go get a seat, then leave & expect it still to be there.
He was trying to tell me the best time to start lining up but he said that it all depended on the artist, just keep an eye on things throughout the day.to be continued...
