Thanks Ally for all the input! I laughed when you said you stood on a picnic table to get the photos of the arena area. Good Job!!!

I think most of us will be arriving fairly early so HOPEFULLY traffic won't be too much of an issue!
You should have seen the looks on people's faces when I did that. Here's this 40- something broad standing on a picnic table, dressed in a Taylor Hicks shirt, sporting a bunch of purple mardi gras beads (3 for a dollar at the Big E) taking pictures of a blank arena.
I'm surprised I didn't make the local paper with the headline "Crazed Taylor Hicks fans...how far will they go?".
looks like they did some changing to the arena. the seats used to be really close to the stage. I wonder why they are so far away? I wonder if we can sit on the grass closer and give up the seats?

Maybe they move the seating for each performer? Taylor will say "Let the NESP sit really close to me...they're easy on the eyes and they buy me lots of stuff. "

AND........THEY CAN SING!
Ally-great reporting!! Thanks so much for clarifying so many questions. I'm still confused re parking-I thought the woman told me
we could park at gate 1 if we got there early...we'll figure it out
eventually

Nice touch with the pics. LOL that would be funny
if you made the paper

Thanks for the first hand report Ally!
Worst case scenario for parking is my husband will drop the 5 of us off near gate 1 and park either at gate 9 or in an adjacent lot and hoof it over to us....he can walk much farther and faster than my mother and my kids! I will have a large backpack for the day and evening.
My son (5) doesn't want to come to the concert with the girls but he's bringing his harmonica "just in case"

and he asked if I can get something for him from Taylor.

I guess because I have sold so many Taylor signed items on ebay for KOPS and had two M&Gs he thinks I have an "in" to get him something....I wish I could tell him I will but I had to say "probably not gonna happen."
He'll be like "let me have my Soul Ho's! Whooo Hoooo!!!
Ally, you did a great job, at least I can picture it in my mind alot better now!! Great to see that the rest rooms are conveniently located!
That must have been funny to people, to see a "crazy" woman standing on a picnic table, taking a pic of an empty arena!!!

Thanks Ally
it looks quite a bit different in that area than I remember it - the concert area wasn't so closed off then and I was even able to go sit in the bleachers to eat my ice cream from the Vermont building

while I was exploring on my break from convincing people to come snowmobile in The County - lol
did anyone else do a double take when they saw the guy with the long hair in this picture ?

Linda - I never even noticed him! Ally - did you know Bo was at the fair?
