Oh, I noticed him lol. Bo wasn't there. Haha
Good job, Ally! Thanks for all the info and pictures. Heh, I noticed "Bo" too.

We went to the Big E in 2003. The day we went ended up setting a new attendance record of 105,000. By the afternoon, I was pretty miserable. It had gotten quite hot that day, and we were dressed for the cool morning and evening. The lines for the ladies' rooms were horrendous, and it was a time of month when I really needed the rest room. I think I may have whined a couple times, and I hate that! LOL! In spite of all that, overall I enjoyed the fair and am looking forward to seeing it again. Of course, Taylor's my main attraction.

On youtube, you can see some Big E concert video to get a better feel for the arena. It's cool how you can see the ferris wheel behind the fence. Should make for some great pictures! I have watched Brooke Hogan, D, Carrie U, and Clay on youtube. It looks like people are standing in some videos. The people who posted the vids had taped the Jumbotron in parts, probably because of the arms and bodies in front of them. Maybe someone can figure it all out for us?
I wanted to make a cute little birthday card to pass out to each of us that goes to the Big E to have as kind of a momento/souvnier to remember the day by. Grin
It would be small and easy to stick in your pocket or purse so you won't have to carry it. With all the scrapbooking supplies and cardmaking add-ons out there, I thought I could come up with something cool, but easy to mass produce, as I'll need maybe what? 60?
But first, I need to get someone's permission to use the nice cake used in our birthday banner at the top of the page. Who did that? Liz? Trish? If you don't mind I was thinking of using that- as it is already a familiar image that we see and associate with the NESP 1 yr. b-day celebration. If not tho, I could use a different image. Smile

Here is a beginning.... I would add something cute, like a ribbon or bow
TayBea! What an awesome idea! I love it! Heart
That would be so nice!
How thoughtful you are, TayBea!
Awwww, Thanks you guys!Huggy

When my mother turned the "big 5-0" (15 years ago), my sister and I had a surprise party for her and we passed out pencils to the guests with a messege stamped on them "I helped Nadine celebrate her 50th!"
TayBea
that's really nice of you - - Tricia woudl be the one to ask about the cake - you could PM her - it might be a clip art from a public site seems to me I've seen it - or something close - before - - but she might have "built" it too so you're right  - it's good manners to ask  Smile

Sorted through some YouTube vids after seeing your post
these showed the most of the stage, etc. of those I went through before my ears gave out     was reminded again that Taylor is really a great live performer  ! !

this one is actually kinda neat - - I liked Ayla - - has good daylight shots of arena

Hey there, AH! I thought you might be just the person to research some more, and you did a great job. The Ayla vid has some good shots of the arena and the crowd standing in front of the stage. I probably should have warned you that some of the performances are mute-worthy. Smile
I think Ayla was at the smaller stage at the front of the Big E, not the Comcast Arena, that's why you see the seating is different, but no matter.
Great research, AH. Smile
