A lot of our members are interested in knowing more about how you
choose tags and set lists for your concerts. Might be a fun subject
for a future blog.

I'm wondering if you like to do different sets for family venues? Thinking
specifically of the BigE which will be a huge mixed age crowd...I bet
they would love Joy To The World-3 Dog Night or Sweet Caroline Wink
Any Massachusetts venue would LOVE Sweet Caroline (BAH BAH BAH) Wink but I'd be partial to anything with a falsetto. Because I need to die more often.
mari - you took the words right out of my mouth.

If you want interaction? Sweet Caroline! The Red Sox fans will be all over it!
I have never asked Taylor directly for a Bob Seger song. I have thought about requesting one in a letter or at a M&G or even holding up a sign at a show but have never been so bold.
I got one at the AI concert in July 06 much to my shock and awe and I LOVED it...it was even better on rehearsals.com as you all know! I have seen Taylor perform Night Moves from an Oasis gig on the computer as well as Mainstreet from his Royal Oak tour stop on the computer....God Bless the internet. Grin
On the off chance that Taylor reads this.....
PLEASE sing a Bob Seger song at a future New England show! I am not the only Seger fan among the Soul Patrol....there are many of us!  It would honestly be a highlight of my music loving life!!! Heart
Thanks Taylor....you're the best! Wink

OK, just in case Taylor does read this song thread

Told myself I would stop putting this song request in every thread that pops up but now that the end of the tour is near - - and having watched the Christmas Jam way too many times - - plus being able to partially blame mari because of her falsetto comment   Smile - - -

would love to hear you and the band do something together like the way the Jam show ended and the Big E would be a great venue for it - so how about doing   I Shall Be Released

Dylan's version is on a couple of your playlists so assume you like the song beyond just singing it with the guys at the Christmas  Jam ? ?  The little bit that you soloed on was such a tease for what the whole song could sound like if done by someone with your gift for injecting real feeling into the music - - have hunted but have not found a version that compares to what I know you could do with this - -  hmmm - did that sound like a challenge ? Grin

for the people not familiar with what I'm talking about there is an easy to access sample on Boogie - - under mp3s scroll down to Various and it's the 4th song - - check at 5:31 for the tease and then in bits especially at 8:10   - - will open in Windows Media Player

Taylor when and IF big IF some day that you have absolutely
have nothing better to do and your just sitting around and pop in
to see what we are up to.heres my song request for you.Now first
of all I will miss your last New England show Sad however I'm sure
some of my pals here at NESP would be able to clue me in at a
later time. All you need is a stool (if you have a favorite use it) a
Red Guitar and a neck holder for your harp. Now that I think about this
I've probably mention the wrong color guitar listed and not the right
word for the thingy that goes around your neck anyway I really know
I dig your music and soul..........  oh yea the song

DRUM ROLL PLEASE---WHERES THE DRUMS GUYS?
AIN'T NO SUNSHINE = Bill Withers OR
                            USE ME = Bill Withers

and yes it would be ok with me to use me..Haha

THANK YOU LISA.Smile

Ohhhhhh Lisa....great choice!!!
In case you do read this Taylor, I would like to request a song you did on AI. It seems you tend to stay away from doing these songs, and I guess I can understand why, but I would love to hear a full version of Try A Little Tenderness. I saw Three Dog Night do this live many years ago, and they were great, but I think you could top them. Another challenge?....Yes!
