"It's interesting ... the music's evolved," Hicks said this week. "There's not as many pieces (in the band), but there's definitely more added to the set list.

"Once you've toured for six months, seven months straight, the music gets intricate. And we're having fun with it," he said. "We've settled into a great rhythm. The more you can play, the better the rhythm gets. Doing six months of work, the body of work grows, and it gets exciting, because you start understanding the synergy onstage with the different musicians. It's definitely a fun job."

What a great article! AL always shows him the love and tends to interview him more creatively than the other papers around the country.

Live performance to be released on cable & home video...wonder if he'll show up on my Directv 101 channel or if it will be DishNetwork...or neither! LOL

Amy,  maybe he'll do a release through Soundstage then it may show up several ways - PBS and Dish being two - does Direct run any Soundstage shows ?
would think he would want to put it out for sale for a while first though maybe ? ?

AH I love your posts, whats an alert? Where do you find all
the great smilies also?

I have been wondering if when he releases his live DVD if it would be on TV. Since going high-def on cable, I get this music HD channel that plays concerts from all sorts of artists, and I would love to see Taylor get on there. It would be great exposure.
Morning Lisa

Alerts can be set up with Search engine providers like Yahoo or Google - - you give the program key words - like Taylor Hicks for example - - and you'll get emails with links to media stories - - can usually ask for alerts from blog postings too - - we have done them for our business for ages so I just added Taylor when was learning about him last year

has been so long since I set mine up I'm not sure I remember how I did it now - - - hmmmm - - ah ha - - just searched "alert" and got http://www.google.com/alerts   for a place for you to start  Grin

re: the little characters - - usually just do a web search for whatever I'm looking for - in this case coffee - sometimes luck out - - sometimes don't  Tongue
