I started doing these crazy pictures a long time ago, approximately 15 - 20 years ago, and let me tell you, not one is ever the same!

I have previously posted the picture in the Torrington Recap thread, and it is there that I have called these drawings my "Psychedelic Amoebas," or for the alliteration, "Psychedelic Parameciums" for which you can probably figure out why...

What I do for these pictures (is that even the right word?) is that I use 5 colors, usually are the person's FAVORITE colors, and create a picture and fill it in with those 5 colors...

This is actually the picture that I created for Taylor, and AllyKat was kind enough to bring to him during her M&G in Torrington, CT...

It featured the following colors:
     Blue: Blue-eyed soul music;
     Gray: Taylor’s gorgeous hair;
     Purple: Taylor’s famous jacket;
     Red: the passion that Taylor exhibits whenever he performs; &
     Silver: for the shining light that Taylor brought back into my life…

After each one of them near completion, they usually get named... Some are difficult to name, but others take no time at all, like this one, which I named "Soul Singer" for some odd reason, which will keep me up nights trying to figure out both how and why... Tongue

I made two of these for friends of mine at the pharmacy that I used to work for, and their mom was duly impressed with them...
She also got the impression that these were reflections of both of her sons' auras (without getting too new-agey on anyone)...
What was really weird about that was when the colors chosen for one of them, he chose red, orange, and the other colors of fire, he happened to be going through an extremely angry phase...

So I was thinking, considering that the holidays are coming up sooner than later, if anyone would like a truly one-of-a-kind artwork?

I have created these as large as 14x22, but these probably will have to be mailed, so smaller would be better...
With that in mind, I was thinking of doing these no bigger than an 8.5 x 11, as I use extremely good quality art paper...

Also, anything bigger might be difficult to frame, without going through much expense... (Have you ever had anything custom framed for something uniquely sized? Thud and not good Thud either!!!)

This is the first place that I thought of offering this to, so I am testing the waters, as it were...

Let me know what you think!
