Hmmmm... I never found my school office secretaries having a bit of the

in them...
Befriending the friendless, helping the helpless
"defeating the... feetless"
Sorry that is part of a line from 'Zorro, the Gay Blade' that I totally adore...
oh gawd, am going to have to go rent 'Zorro, the Gay Blade' now - had forgotten all about it and loved George Hamilton in that, actually liked him in just about anything

sorry to bring it back down with my PITA serious stuff but belong to a women's group that has several teachers in it and a major complaint is with the "no child left behind" strictures nearly every child is being left behind in that there is no time to encourage the actual process of learning - they are now basically " teaching to the tests" - - to clarify a bit - if everyone thinks back to their best teachers - not necessarily the most fun, etc. - but the ones you really learned from - you will probably agree that they taught you how to find your own answers,
i.e. how to learn, something that you take with you and use for the rest of your life - - - what they are lamenting is that deductive reasoning - the process of knowing "A" and "B" and applying that knowledge to arrive at "C" - is falling by the wayside because they have to teach more in the old, once discarded, rote memorization style
just thought I'd toss that frequent topic of conversation into the mix for you - - have absolutely no idea how a school secretary can have any effect on the problem however - - unless the school has student office helpers in which case you might be able to offer some problem solving situations

Ya know I have no friggen idea what the hell I'd be doing! LOL I guess it's just a generalized question they ask to make sure I'm not a complete moron?
No I'm just a complete moron who asked everyone for their opinions! LOL
